Four Points by Sheraton Siena

The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff friendly.

The breakfast was not very good. Bad juices (they did not taste natural) and bad coffee (I think the machine was unbalanced).

Very convenient location. Large free parking, silent neighbourhood, large and comfortable room, nice gym and pool. It was very pleasant to relax in the pool after a busy day travelling around. The staff is very friendly. Victor, the guy who works in the pool, is especially nice.

I have three suggestions to give. i) More options of fruits for breakfast, please ii) a restroom by the pool is obviously necessary iii) a second coffee machine in the restaurant would reduce the long queues And by the way, the restaurant lacks some sophistication compared to the rest of the facilities.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, clean and new. The staff is very nice and willing to help. Good gym that’s open most of the day, which is great with all the carbs in Italy 😄 We had a very good time. also the location was great for us because it has easy access to the rural area.

The air conditioning was set up only for heat, which was too much for us. The first night we had trouble sleeping because of that, and when we called reception they didn’t help. When we came to reception in the morning (different staff) they immediately offered to give us a fan and that really helped, but maybe consider to cancel the temperature control.

Good sized, modern and comfortable room. Aircon was excellent. Excellent swimming pool in a peaceful location. Plenty of sun loungers. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. Within walking distance to the bus stop for travel into Siena

Bar area lacked atmosphere and was very quiet when we were there. Sometimes we had to wait for a bartender to appear. Evening restaurant was also quiet and quite expensive. Limited menu serving mainly gourmet dishes although the food was tasty. After the first night we ate out in the town centre, or at a campsite restaurant 5 minutes walk up the road.

Very good breakfast with lots of choices on buffet. Comfortable bed. Restaurant in evening was surprisingly good and not ridiculously expensive. Most important, it is a 5 minute walk from the University Hospital of Siena.

Bathroom was good but small and therefore felt cramped. For a hotel that's part of an American chain, I was shocked to see not one TV channel in English - not even CNN. I prefer small hotels but for a chain, this one is quite acceptable.

The facilities including the swimming pool. The room and bathroom were excellent and the cleaning staff were very good. The buffet breakfast was good value for money. The local pizza shop is outstanding.

The reception staff were very offhand on check in, check out and didn’t seem particularly eager to engage. Twice I was told “my Colleague will help you” without any hello or even looking up. It’s a bus ride to old Siena.

Teodora at the front desk was just a delight and so very helpful!! Very nice large room and bath. Good breakfast and pretty good dinner. We chose to stay out of the city because we had driven there and there was free parking a real plus!! Much easier to take a cab into the center.

Lighting in the dining room for dinner really needs to be a lot dimmer, not like being in a cafeteria. As we have found all over the world, all hotels would like to be “green”, but there are Never enough hooks to hang towels to dry overnight!!

Staff were very helpful, room was clean, bed was comfy

Air conditioning didn’t work which is the reason we chose the hotel. We were told we could move rooms but staff warned the air conditioning probably wouldn’t work in the other rooms, we were only staying for 3 nights and we were also advised that if we did move rooms, we would have to move rooms twice. I am currently pregnant and we were in Italy for a wedding so this just seemed a little unreasonable

Rooms are stylish and clean! Bed is comfortable. Hairdryer is of good quality, shower had a nice water pressure. Staff is very nice. Parking was alright.

Lights in the bathroom were too dim for doing makeup. pool and pool area were closed therefore not a lot of outdoor seatings available which was a pity because the weather was so nice. Breakfast was...okay. TV did not include international channels.

Everything was as expected from a 4star hotel: clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, nice & spacious rooms.

Location of the hotel is too far out side the city to walk & not the most beautiful area. This also has an impact on the swimming pool, in terms of view. Not ideal for a relaxing day at the pool.
