it isn’t name ca marínella so it was really hard to find it for the first time

The room looked very nice

not too easy to find, It ia actually part of the hotel near by, it took us a while to find it

I'd happily give the wonderful staff 12/10 if there was an option. They absolutely made the holiday for us, from the super kind and helpful deskteam (special thanks for helping us through a very tricky arrival) , to the brilliant house keeping and the ever smiling breakfast team to Constantino who cheerfully trollied our luggage to the ferry and shepherded onto the right boat on the last day. . Oh and the room was amazing too! Venetian mirrors fab sparkly clean bathroom, beautiful fabric walls, super comfy bed which was enormous. Brilliant location for central Venice with easy access to all areas, lots of restaurants and cafes within 5 mins walk. Venice tips generally: Special mention to the team at Estro (wine bar and small but memorably wonderful restaurant) Check out locally guided activities on 'get your guide' Special loved the glass workshop and lesson with Massimiliano and an early entrance to the Doges Palace and St Marks, cooking from Rialto produce with Lorenzo was great fun, or any other of the amazing experiences run by local peopleto help make your holiday even more magical. ConsiderACTV travel passes from Venezia Unica the local authority so you can travel anywhere on Actv vaporettos in the city and lagoon on water or local actv buses within a timed ticket period. Buy beforehand o the Internet, pick them up at the airport on your way in (keep your receipt in case you need a refund). Don't keep them right next to your phone due to the magnetic strip). They saved us a lot and we used them all over the lagoon, from Tronchetti to the Arsenale. Checkout the free DAAAB (from a to b) App free on Play, which tells you which boat you need and what options to take.Have fun and take special note of the Beware Pickpocket signs around the city. They really are there for a reason. It's very safe for people anywhere pretty much, even at night, but wallets and phones can disappear into thin air on a crowded vaporetto or street in a moment.

Leaving! we would happily return tomorrow (and the next day).

We stayed this place but you have to check in at the Santa Marina Hotel (in the opposite building) it’s all connected. Truly impressed with the room, little penthouse room overlooking the roof tops of Venice. The room was spotless clean (so well done to the cleaners they do an excellent job). The breakfast had many options and every morning you were asked if you wanted ‘scrambled egg/bacon’ or ‘pancakes’ you can also opt for both. You’ll also be asked if you want tea/coffee/orange juice - again we said yes to everything. The coffee was delicious 🔥 and the orange juice was … wow 🤩 the breakfast staff were so lovely and welcoming. The rooms were so clean, plenty of towels, good shower unit bed extremely comfortable. Had extra pillows and duvets in the wardrobe. 9/10 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ don’t forget to tip the cleaners they don’t get enough credit for all there hard work. With love from Ireland 🇮🇪 🍀

Perhaps the only fault - is we were up the top floor and there is plenty of steep steps up, there is no lift, someone with mobility issues may find this difficult. On the top floor we heard nothing it was if the room was sound proof. I loved it here and would definitely stay again. The location is fantastic

Location was great, in the middle of the city centre and close to many famous sites. The room was very clean and room service was provided every day. The water in the shower was very hot (which was great)! Breakfast was plentiful and of great quality, with sweet and savoury options and the possibility to order freshly made scrambled eggs with bacon and pancakes. Service, both at reception and at breakfast, was great. Our room faced the back of buildings so, even though we did not have a great view, it was very quiet.

The room was very small. It was hard to move around the bed, especially with suitcases. The bathroom was also very small, with smaller than usual toilet and bidet. Unfortunately, the pictures we saw on Booking did not match the room we were given.

Central position, great breakfast, help with luggage, free luggage store before/after the stay, the room was ready few hours before check-in, clean and big room, kind staff, strong wifi. I hadn't any problem the room was in the second building 20 m near the main hotel entrance. I would choose this hotel again.

No kettle in the room, dark room - windows with wooden cover, no view and any daily light (another building is too close and the room was on the ground floor, however small streets between buildings are normal in Venice), the kee .

The room was very spacious

There was not much narural light in the room.Not so many options for breakfast. When you trying to find the hotel the name of the Hotel is Santa Marina not Ca'Marinella.

Fantastic location with an accommodating staff. The room's size is much bigger than we were expecting and the decoration is really cool, we felt like we are in Venice :) Also, I will definitely recommend their breakfast too, it will save you a lot of money!

- The bed was really uncomfortable, 2 single beds were merged to have a double bed and there was a slope so you are ending up between 2 single beds middle of the night :/ - Room was pretty cold, and the max heating degree was 18. Once you include the humidity of Venice, 18 degrees really becomes cold and we were sleeping in our tick clothes. - The walls are too thin and you are able to hear everything that's happening around your room, and it's not cool if a small kid is staying the next door :) - In the early morning (6ish) market staff are carrying products to the market which is next to the hotel with carts, so you are definitely waking up.

Very good location 5 minutes or so from the Rialto bridge. Very friendly & helpful staff. We had a very late check in due to our flight being delayed & the gentleman on duty who dealt with our check in was very helpful. He took the time to show to our room & helped us carry our suitcases up stairs. Breakfast was good plenty of choice. Hot & cold food. The rooms are in the annex of the main hotel approximately 20 meters or so away which we didn’t find a problem at all but just to note it doesn’t have a lift.

The bed was a little too firm for me.

The place was renovated in good quality. everything was very good - bed was comfy, there were extra heaters in case we need them, warm water in the shower, excellent breakfast, and I mean not coffee and croissant excellent, but a wide variety of appetisers, nuggets, mozzarella sticks, little arancini and they also offer scrambled eggs and pancakes, and you can also have cookies and other sweet pastry, seriously, this is a rare find, especially for Italy (at least in my experience).

It wasnt quite a problem for me, but maybe elderly people would have hard time climbing up the many stairs.
