The location was excellent and the apartment was stunning. Excellent fixtures and fittings.

We were expecting a terrace with the apartment- the difference in apartments was not clearly explained. The photographs make it appear that apartments have outside space.The steps up to each bathroom were a problem as I have mobility issues, and they were not mentioned. Lack of maintenance issues meant one bathroom door could not be securely closed, and the flickering mirror lights in the other bathroom caused problems with shaving & applying makeup. Minimal products were supplied (1 bin bag, 1 toilet roll in each bathroom, etc) were supplied and reception only directed us to a supermarket when it would have been appreciated if extra was supplied as we only stayed for 4 nights. Reception staff were only helpful to a point.

Lots of room for a family, and faced a small canal. very clean and updated bathroom and kitchen.

Horrible check-in experience. No internet connection in lobby so I asked receptionist for outer door and room door codes. She told me to download the app. I told her again (and showed her my phone) that I had no internet connection and to please write them on a piece of paper for me. She said if I open my email I could see the codes. THIRD time telling her I cannot access the internet and PLEASE let us in the apartment. ridiculous. My son asked for the apt internet password and she wrote down the wrong password too. No instructions inside on how to use washer/dryer combo either. Horribly managed and we found personal items from prior guest so IDK how well they clean….

You can't get a better location, near the Rialto but not right on a tourist street. How fun was it to arrive direct to the hotel dock by water taxi(especially bc we don't travel light!)!! The building felt secure, the staff communicated well with us. The apartment was grander than expected, with lots of space, great beds, really good showers. Loved the little balcony overlooking the canal. Plenty of space for us to spread out. Also appreciated the ability to control each room's temperature.

On arrival (or maybe before if you get your emails ahead of time) they want you to download a specific app in order to check in. With this app your phone is your key. This was fine as an option and it did work well once we got it going, but the problem was that there is no other option, no physical key. What if my phone dies or is stolen? And with all the identity theft problems these days I would have preferred not to download unknown software.

There was no breakfast.

First day one room full of mosquitos!

Excellent location, huge accomodation for 4 friends each of us had a bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Beautifully appointed and gorgeous fittings and decor. I would definitely stay again.

I was absolutely certain I had selected the apartment with the terrace however there is a difference on selection. Take care in ensuring that you select executive apartment with Terrace as opposed to execute apartment. The pictures suggest there is a terrace included and I did input the filter to include the terrace however it was my error, but a bit too easy a mistake to make.

We loved staying here! The apartment is on the top floor of an old building which has its own canal entrance so you can get a water taxi directly there if you want. However (much cheaper) it is really very close to the Rialto waterbus stop so not too far to pull your cases. There is a good lift which was always available. Our apartment really exceeded expectations - so big! It was very comfy inside - in fact felt luxurious. But the terrace was the best - it's up overlooking the rooftops and the roof and belltower of a church. The bells of Venice become a part of life! There is even a glimpse of the Campanile & the top of the Basilica from the bathroom. The staff were always really helpful and nice.

Be Mate is an absolute gem in the heart of Venice. The staff is wonderful, online check in is so smooth and easy. The apartment are brand new, spacious and have all the amenities one need! Would have love to stay longer. I also booked a group of 30 people as I got married in Venice and the staff helped with the whole organassero on and distribution of guests. I cannot wait to come back to Venice to stay at Be Mate. Thank you staff! Wonderful people and amazing apartments.

Everything was more than perfect.

Great location, very clean and comfortable, excellent facilities and the staff downstairs were helpful and friendly. The apartment was very spacious and also quiet despite being in a central location.

The instructions to find the place! We got very lost, it look about 45 minutes of wandering around the labyrinth that is Venice to find it! Don't use Google maps - you lose signal as soon as you go into the alleyways, but maybe call ahead and get directions. It's actually y very easy to find once you know where it is.

We loved the private entrance for boats to come and collect us. The location was perfect and we didn’t have to walk far from most places we wanted to go to. The apartment was beautiful inside and had everything we needed. Felt like our own little penthouse - it was soo spacious. we loved every second

We were 3 moms with babies and children travelling so it has its own challenges. The staff were so helpful with the babies and children - they were always there to help. This is very child friendly which we didnt know.

The location was excellent - only a few minutes from the Rialto Bridge. The apartment was a good size and laid out nicely. Everything was immaulate, new and stylish.

Both bathrooms were four steps up. Until we settled in, we seemed to be spending a lot of time running up and down those four steps! Also, there was no shower in the master bedroom, only a tub without an enclosure; when we used the hand spray, water got all over the floor and we had to use towels to mop up.
