The area was perfect easy to get in and out. Staff were great with us, let us in early as our room was ready and super helpful with breakfast and any questions we had.

There was no lift and we had the top room so five sets of stairs which was a bit of a hike as I have a bad knee. Also the cleaner had left the window open even though we had closed it because I had got bitten the first night by mosquitoes and got eaten alive each day.

At booking it said breakfast included, after booking breakfast was not included, but reasonable price!

The location was perfect, 3 mins to the main bridge with the nice view. It was very clean and the staff very friendly. Wifi, breakfast included in the price. I dont understand people who gave such bad reviews.

The shower was a bit small, but still fine since its just a shower.

I had read a lot of the reviews, so was a little worried about the stairs. I was pleasently surprised when we were on the 3rd floor, not anywhere near the number of stairs I expected. Thank you Hotel Canada for your warm hospitality.

Amazing location. Simple rooms, exactly what you need. Nothing more than one needs.

You are asked to leave your room key with the concierge each time you leave, but the concierges change so frequently that they don’t recognise which guest is in which room. They therefore will give any room key to any person who walks in and asks. This makes their security extremely poor. The cleaners also do not change bed linen and towels every day, which I would have liked.

The location of the hotel is great during the stay, because is close to every attraction but a bit far from the train station. The staff was very welcoming and besides the outdated look of the hotel, it has a very cozy and comfortable mood. The view was very pleasant once i didn´t expect to have river view. The room was very clean, organized, spacious and had no noises outside.

The bathroom had a awkward layout and at certain hour of the night the hotel closes. The worse thing is that the hotel has NO FREE WI-FI. Unacceptable in 21 century! The booking hotel page has that information, however i didn't saw and took it for granted.

Fantastic location! The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were great. It was way better than I expected. Nice hot shower and view of a canal.

Electricity went out for a few hours. Staff brought extra blankets. Really out of their control.

We had a misunderstanding with the breakfast which we thought was included but actually wasn't. The staff was very understanding and managed the situation very well. The truth is that the breakfast was very good for the price (4€).

There are three flights of stairs just to get to reception and we had another two sets to our room. It was not a big deal because we were traveling light but I feel this was not clear when we booked.

The room was cold for me even after fixing the air conditioner mode by the staff and I couldn’t have an extra heater. The hot water in the morning was cool and it was very uncomfortable to take a shower in winter with cool water.

We were in a room with a shared bathroom. The hotel was comfortable, and the room and bathroom were clean always. The hotel had towels and extra blankets if you need them. the best thing about the place is its staff, kind and always willing to help you.

The only thing is that you don't have free wifi, you only have two hours for free and then you have to pay. But, if you gonna be out around Venice this is not a big problem.
