Canaletto Luxury Suites - San Marco Luxury

I loved this place, great location,spacious and beautifully renewed, great lighting system you can control the room lights when you're in bed and closet lights turn on and off with sensors , automatic AC system turns of when a window is open, even the doors lock automatically, very comfortable with everything you might need, lovely closets with lots of hangers, extra towels, pillows, blankets, toiletries extra everything, kitchen corner with a small stove, sink and a fridge, a kettle ,coffee machine and pods, tea...etc, also sound isolation is good, nice breakfast and the lady who kindly delivers the breakfast is welcoming and friendly, the building has an elevator, the lobby is right across the entrance of the building . If you’re arriving with a water taxi make sure to go down in San Marco square, just cross the square with the basilica on your right side to the building with the historic watch this is the building on top of Bar Americano turn in between the bar and Giobagnara store the reception is on you’re right side the suites on the left ( I learned that the hard way ) or just be ready with the property number and call for directions when you reach San Marco square.

reception staff can have a better attitude one is lazy the other is un knowledgeable, but not a reason to hesitate choosing this property, the location can be tricky if you’re following google maps we were lost for 45 mn , tried to call the property but couldn’t because the number listed on booking is missing one number , finally found the right number and called to ask for directions, booking or the property need to give more details on how to reach the place for first timers .

Beautiful location. Beautiful suite. Very clean. Gorgeous views of Venice. Loved the private entry. Amazing staff. They were very attentive to any and all needs if necessary. The food from the establishment was delicious.

We walked around searching for the checkin location for at least an hour or more. Very frustrating to say the least. The location really needs to be explained better on how to find. The location address was completely unrecognizable above the door as well. Tried calling several times only to be pushed through an automated system with no live person to speak to. We actually had walked by it three times before I decided to just walk into a door that just happened to be the hotel checkin desk. And then waited for the one person behind the desk to finish a phone call for at least 15 minutes before being helped. Did not know that this was even the suite until finally speaking to the rep behind the desk.

Having breakfast delivered to our suite was truly special and tailored to our requests. Our 2 bedroom had a sauna which we used on two occasions (just give it a couple of hours to reach the right temp). The views of St. Marks Square from the room were amazing and surreal. Every detail in this suite was carefully considered and was perfect for our family. There isn't much of a kitchen but with breakfast delivered and so many amazing restaurants nearby, it was not an issue. Definitely one of the nicest places we've stayed.

One of THE BEST hotels I have ever stayed!!! the view all over St Marcs Square was breathtaking, so close to everything, the staff was amazing, the breakfast was full. The room was so spacious and complete with everything. We also had a trip to Murano included, which sadly we couldn't go to, due to our busy schedule to explore the city. We loved everything and we can't wait to be back!

A Spectacular setting! Fantastic morning view over the square and Basilica. To wake up to this view is unforgettable! Spacious and luxurious appartement, clean and very fine service.

The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. The coffee was not warm and the eggs also seemed to have waited a bit too long to reach the room. But everything else about tge breakfast was fine.

The location was amazing overlooking St Marcos Square and church. The room facilities were second to none, and the breakfast being served in the room was great. There was nothing better than relaxing in the private sauna and spa bath after a day of sightseeing.

enjoyed the location and being next to the church and bell tower. Room had spectacular views of port and church.

Did not like the Murano glass tour we were told was included with private boat in our room package. Great package if you like to purchase blown glass. once we go to Murano, the tour was about selling much like a time share pitch.

Location was perfect, overlooking St Marks Basilica and square within easy reach of all other main attractions. The staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Top location, just on a piazza San Marco. Very friendly and kind stuff, breakfast in a room, unforgettable view from my window. Sauna in the apartment wow!

I would adjust more lights in bathroom.

Breakfast was plentiful and prepared well. Food choices were limited. The location right on Piazza San Marco was busy but quiet enough with windows closed. The view of the piazza was fabulous.

Our only complaint is that we thought for the price of this hotel we should not have been charged for bottled water.
