San Marco Palace

Excellent location

The "coffee" at breakfast was absolutely undrinkable.

The location was perfect 2 mins walk from St Marks Square. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The apartment in the main was in very good decorative order. The communal areas were clean and in excellent decorative order. Covid measures were excellent. The hotel was very clean. There is a mini supermarket 2 doors up.

Inthe kitchenette in the apartment the microwave did not have a plate and could not be used. There were also no kitchen equipment such as glasses, plates cutlery, or pans. The mini bar had a good selection of soft drinks, and you could store milk in it. The television does not have any English channels.

The breakfast choices was poor. Its hard to reach the rooms. No iron The Ac wasn't working

Perfect location. Clean hotel, nice and helpful staff. Breakfast was tasty and the breakfast room is just next to the canal.

Aircon was a mess in one of the rooms. It was impossible to close the window if the AC was on. As a result it was 29C in the room and made it super difficult to sleep. They offered a different room, but it was way darker, so we sticked with the original one. As a compensation we got free breakfast and the consumption from the mini bar.

Our room was large and comfortable and nicely decorated. The hotel is in a great part of Venice right near Saint Marks Square. The free tour to Murano to visit the glass factory was great, the glass factory was really interesting although there is more gift shop then glass factory. At the end of that tour they wanted us to get on the boat and do some other tour with them which I’m certain would not of been free. Anyway we walked out of the glass factory and had a lovely walk around Murano. breakfast at the hotel was fantastic right on the canal.

Perfect location in Venice. Easy walk to St Marks square, along with quick access to the lagoon and all water transportation. Several path ways convenient pathways to explore Venice from the property.

Breakfast was acceptable. However it was fairly bland. Eggs were dry and overcooked, every day.

A bit complicated to go from the hotel reception to the room but it's due to the channels of Venice ;) Nothing to complain about ! And it's a shame there was no in-room complimentary coffee/kettle

Location was amazing, a minute walk to the square a few minutes walk to pier (if you don't take the long way around 😊). Gondola at your door. Room was beautiful, large, nice little balcony overlooking canal.

Suggestion (not a complaint), would be good to have coffee / kettle etc. available in room.

it’s in the heart of the square. They start your morning out with an excellent breakfast. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are 5 star. When you check out of your room the hotel will watch your bags for hours until you can water taxi back to the airport.

it’s a maze figuring out how to get to your room. if someone is handicapped they should book the lower floors.

Perfect location! Excellent full breakfast. So good we didn't even bother looking elsewhere.

Bed was not comfortable. Not being picky here...I mean army cot uncomfortable.
