Rosa Salva Hotel

Excellent bed and excellent shower. The generous size of the apartment gave that sense of space that relaxes you on holiday. The predominant shade of green - like sage, flecked with gold - was restful and attractive. Staff friendly and helpful.

Lighting subtle, but we are readers so the issue is brightness! Small windows gave little natural light. Seating: one bench seat and just one comfy stool is inadequate for such a big room. The food-storage / tea-making area was cramped. We ignored the peculiar coffee machine but the connection to the kettle not working on our first night, tired after a long flight, was quite a let-down . . . and two further reminders were needed for a repair.

This should for all intents and purposes be a 4* hotel, it was great! Located right next to excellent restaurants and a stone's throw from San Marco. The Room was luxurious, we were offered a large suite with a private courtyard view, and very comfortable beds. The room itself was well equipped with fridge, TV, snacks and so on. Staff were friendly and the hotel was a great base to explore all of Venice!

Unfortunately no breakfast is offered, simply a 10% voucher for the cafe downstairs but since we stayed Saturday - Sunday the cafe was closed Sundays. That said, there were great breakfast options nearby so that wasn't a big disappointment.

The hotel was centrally located and close to St Marks Square and provided a good base to explore from. The hotel staff were friendly and the room was clean and tidy. We booked three rooms and the hotel provided these on the same floor so that we could be close to each other.

No breakfast was provided, although this was included at the time of booking, and instead we were given a 10% discount card for the the patisserie café that was attached to the hotel. The hotel did not have an iron facility which was unusual.

The staff were very helpful, the room was clean, and located in a good place near St Marks. They provided free water and some snacks in the room. They held our bags several hours after we checked out.

There was no breakfast provided, but they give you a 10% discount at the adjoining cafe. You have to walk a ways to get to the hotel, but this is the case with almost all of the hotels in Venice, which is tricky to navigate. The cost of a water taxi to St Marks from the train station was 80 euro but we split it with some other people. It was then 40 euro to get back to the bus station to catch a bus to the airport. The charm of Venice is the waterways and absence of motor vehicles, but that can also be a challenge since you travel either on foot or by water taxi or water bus.

A hotel that is nestled within a patisserie store of a same name was a great way to start off our Venice trip. We got lost finding the place at night, but the lovely receptionist greeted and helped us on our late arrival. The interior is modern and very bright when you walk in. Our room was small but big enough for the 2 of us. The curtains were thick and cancelled the light out in the morning and the bed was very comfortable and spacious. Not to mention the coffee machine in the room which helped with the morning wake up. The bathroom facilities were of high quality and good for the skin and everything was presented so well. The only negative we have is that we weren't here long enough. However we will always remember the wonderful service we received and the wonderful smiles we felt. They were even generous for letting us store our luggage for the day while we did some sight seeing. Rosa Salva, thank you so much for making our stay a short yet pleasant experience.

best 3 star hotel i ever stayed in personally.. better than many 5 star hotels we were upgraded to a junior suite which we only realised after seeing the room was way bigger than what we had booked for. everything in the mini fridge - juices, water, yogurt were all free of charge and came with a nespresso machine in the room. lovely room. the staff here are exceptional, especially antonio who always greeted us enthusiastically and was extremely helpful in directions around the very confusing venice love this hotel and would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a place to stay in venice

Exceeded expectations on all levels. We couldn’t have asked for a better hotel. The room was extremely spacious, the facilities were very newly renovated and modern, the location was prime with a few minutes walking distance to all the main attractions and the staff were professional and extremely lovely. This should be atleast a 4 star hotel and was definitely the best hotel on our entire europe trip. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Venice!

You’ll need to bring your own shampoo and conditioner as the shampoo is a one in all with the body wash and there wasn’t any conditioner (which isn’t a big deal but a good fyi)

Very clean and comfortable room with a dividing door to separate the two rooms. Curtains provided complete blackout at night/morning which enabled us to get a lay in. Bed incredibly comfortable and the pillows really thick but soft. Powerful shower and had the best nights sleep there. All the usual expected products available - tea, coffee, soaps, toilet roll, towels. Also included was a ‘free bar’ with yogurts, toast, jams/spreads, still and sparkling water, orange and pineapple juices - which was replenished each day of our stay. Rooms cleaned daily too. Front of house staff friendly and helpful - gave advice on how to easily get to/from the station as well as recommended restaurants. Very pleasant stay and would definitely book again. Photos do no not do this hotel justice.

TV only provided programmes in Italian. Would have liked even a new channel in English or subtitles available. This didn’t matter too much as the children were happy with any cartoons.

The room was amazing and the staff at reception where extremely helpful and friendly. They helped us out with transfers after our stay and showed us a map of Venice including Restaurants they recommended in the local area!

We were warmly welcomed on arrival and quickly checked into our room. The space was as depicted online with updated decor, furnishings, and excellent lighting for a cozy ambiance. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The complimentary tea/coffee/water and juice in the room was a nice touch. We found the hotel to be an oasis amidst the crowds in this touristy area of Venice. So convenient to St Mark’s Square and Rialto, many restaurants & shopping. The in-house bakery downstairs served delicious baked goods and refreshing beverages.

No dislikes. Personally we would enjoy an in-house fitness room to unwind & exercise.
