Daily at least 5 complementary Mosquitos in the room. Breakfast very, very limited in choice for 35 euro per person. A few additional options available for additional charge - but then the hotel should not pretend breakfast is included.

The location is the best in Venice — next to Piazza San Marcos on the main canal and right in front of Vitoria Emanuel II monument and the San Zacaria vaporetto station. A classic hotel very well kept, and our room was just renovated. Super friendly staff always looking for ways to serve you and pamper you. Exceptional cleanliness in our room everyday — we loved the turn down service.

The optional breakfast cost at €35 is too steep for just a regular breakfast, which is nothing to write home about it. However the waiters and waitresses couldn’t be any nicer.

We went for 5 days for our 30th Wedding Anniversary trip. I had wonderful helpful communication from a number of the staff prior to our stay. They adjusted a few things for me that I changed a couple of times to ensure it was a special occasion. The Hotel is in a superb location just opposite the San Zaccaria B vaporetto stop. The whole atmosphere is luxurious and the staff are all attentive, friendly and exemplary. We had breakfast every morning which was a great selection of cold pastries, breads, cake, cereals and hot food including eggs and sausages and bacon with fresh orange juice and hot drinks. We ate in the restaurant one evening and visited the bar every evening. The staff remembered us such that we felt individually valued. I paid for a lagoon facing room that was well worth the extra. The room was spacious, and the bathroom had a large 3 option shower. The staff ensured the room was immaculately made up at least twice a day. We had complimentary water and mini bar. The price is very fair for the location, quality of hotel and facilities and the staff service.

Fantastic location, views from room, facilities in room, size and cleanliness of room and bathroom. Hotel staff were very attentive and the barmen were great. The grandiose of the hotel was outstanding.

The restaurant was expensive for the food it served up in comparison to some of the other high end restaurants and also mid range restaurants we found, so although I would definitely stay there again, I wouldn't dine in.

The location was perfect, overlooking the hotel and right by a Vaporetto stop. It was a busy area but the room was quiet. The room was the perfect size, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. It was a lovely hotel to celebrate our honeymoon, we had a great time.

We didn't receive the correct breakfast order any morning of our stay so this could be better.

The location is exceptional, our room was overlooking the lagoon and it made it extra special. The concierge were very helpful, they arranged a flawless Murano and Burano experience and came up with great restaurant recommendations!

The only little critique is the quality of bread at breakfast. We were missing healthier whole wheat options and in general bread was not tasty.

Fantastic hotel, location perfect all areas of Venice are easily reachable surrounded by great restaurants and bars. Our room was just incredible

If used just for a base the price is quite expensive with I’m sure other alternatives nearby. Breakfast time is a little intimidating all ordered fresh from a menu and if your not careful everything arrives at the same time, so you eat your cereals whilst watching your cooked meal going cold.
