The location was wonderful and the room (“blue room”) was so so beautiful! Our hosts were so helpful in what to do and where to go in Venice - even though we checked in after hours there was a map waiting with restaurants listed as suggestions if we wanted somewhere recommended for dinner. There was even Netflix on the TV so we could watch something familiar in English at night. Everything was comfortable and lovely!

Honestly, nothing we disliked! We did have trouble with the front door during after-hours check in, but that was our fault because we hadn’t watched the full information video we were sent ahead of time!

Our entire stay (3 nights) were absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, which was a bit early, our room was ready and Alvise, who is an incredible host, was ready with all sorts of recommendations from areas to visit to the restaurants in those areas - and all the restaurants we went to were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and just to add, it was our wedding anniversary and my birthday while we were there and they went out of their way to celebrate us and make it exceptionally special. I think this will be our first choice whenever we visit Venice next. Thank you so much for everything.

It can be a bit noisy in the morning when they are setting up for breakfast but it’s worth it.

As soon as we landed in Venice, we received a lovely phone call from the staff making sure we were all okay to get the water boat to the hotel (even provided instructions) which was fabulous as it's slightly confusing finding the water boat from the airport. Once we arrived, really easy walk from the port to the hotel and very easy to navigate with Google maps and also a 25kg suitcase. We were greeted with one of the friendliest hotel managers ever, who was so delighted we were here and gave us all of recommendations (pay close attention to the restuarants, as we had some of the best food in our life!!). The room itself, EXACTLY as the photos described and the view of the canal was just divine! Despite the hotel being in a lively area, once those windows were closed you did not hear a peep! Breakfast the next day, fit for royalty / fruit, continental, pastry, juice, coffee and all delivered to your room to eat while overlooking the canal (you arrange the time the night before with the hotel). And it really put us in a great mood to continue our time in Italy! So definitely, DEFINITELY book this hotel for your time in Venice / it is beyond worth it and you won't be disappointed!

A true gem of an accommodation in Venice. This is a place that makes you feel entirely at home from the time you enter through your departure. The rooms very comfortable and wonderfully decorated. The breakfast, served in room, was beyond compare and more than fully satisfying. It served as a basis of comparison for the other locations we visited after and none came close. Our host, Alvisa could not have been nicer and more helpful. His assistance with directions and arrangements for travel to our cruise location in Trieste made our trip much easier. If you are going to be in Venice, make sure to book at this gem early because it only has a few rooms. A great alternative to a larger traditional hotel.

Wish we could have stayed longer but we had to leave for our cruise. It's not a typical hotel, but that's part of the charm. The hotel provided directions and a walking video to find the location which was great. Since it's not a large location, it could be difficult to find without these resources.

Great location, just a 5 minute walk from S. Marco-San Zaccaria ferry stop. The B&B is on the first floor, our room was huge, very spacious with delightful view over the canal. The room was really comfortable and being served breakfast in our room quite a treat. The breakfast consisted of croissants, bread rolls, jams etc, cold meats, cheese, yoghurts and coffee. There was plenty to sustain us through the day. There were also tea and coffee making facilities and a good range of teas. The receptionist, Avise, was really helpful with local information as well as accommodating in providing us with some food for breakfast on the go when we had to leave early. Nothing was too much trouble. The lady who cleaned our room and also served breakfast was really kind and always smiling. Both helped in making our holiday a treat.

I can’t express how much I appreciated this stay. it was my mums birthday present and I haven’t seen her for 4 years and I wanted to surprise her with this short stay. First, location was excellent and place is beautiful. Secondly, reception and cleaning team were amazing, they went above and beyond and I want to say HUGE thank you for organising our stay and welcoming us with bottle of Prosecco and balloons. Room was spotless and very comfortable and Alvise ( I think this was the name of receptionist , sorry I’m really bad with names!) was super helpful as he gave as lots of recommendations where to go and what to do. in general, if you want to have an amazing experience look no further as this place ticks all boxes. breakfast is delicious too!!!

Location was excellent just few minutes away from Piazza San Marco but still a really nice and quiet location. Room was beautiful and breakfast was more like a brunch served in your room. We really enjoyed our stay and as a final touch we had some special welcome in our room for our 20th anniversary celebration. And of course you could not give enough thanks for the staff, their kindness and tips for the city. See added pictures for more details! Our hosts provided excellent directions and information so that reaching the accommodation was simple. The presentation and amenities offered were exceptional. We were given a glass of Prosecco on arrival a sign of the generosity and hospitality of our host. Breakfast offered included a pleasing variety of fresh and delicious food and hot cappuccino. Andrea was knowledgeable and very helpful in providing information for the area and transportation details. A wonderful stay. We will recommend Residenza Veneziana to all our family and friends. It was really outstanding accomodation. Gorgeous apartment, amazing view. Really king's room and special stay in Venice, thanks to environment and treatment in the hotel. We were offered a welcome bottle of Prosecco. Very polite and helpful receptionist. Amazing beakfast in the room the next day was awsome and it was very generous. Definitely, the most successful and gourgeous stay for a special occasion, good choice, worth for money. Very spacious big room with all facilities, shampooes, slippers, even an iron! what is not always in hotels. Location is so close to San Marco and to vaporetto stop. Many cafes and restaraunats behind the corner, though the street is quiet. Thank you very much to hotel and all staff.

Nothing to note.

The service, room, location, everything was perfect. It is in a very quiet location but literally 5 minutes from everywhere! At the property we couldn’t have been made to feel more special, and the breakfast, oh the breakfast. Perfection.

Absolutely nothing. There wasn’t anything to fault whatsoever and I would recommend anyone to come stay here, in fact we will be back!
