Jonathan and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The vibe and overall aesthetic of the property is beautiful and calming. The food was convenient, casual and the shrimp tacos were tasty. The drinks were well priced and the bar options are extensive. It seemed to be in a more touristy part of the city, but it was in walking distance to tourist shops and some restaurants. The pool was small but there was always pool noodles, towels and seating cushions within close reach.

The text responses were a little sporadic, they had a slow down with the water (I think this was a city problem), the rooms are a little inconsistent (our group of 8 had 4 rooms total and all were different), the Wi-Fi made you re-log in consistently. If you’re on the B side of the property you’ll probably hear the loud loud music at night on the weekends from the bar across the street. There’s also limited surface space within the rooms, they could benefit from a side table or two.

Overall, a really awesome property! The hotel is beautifully designed and considered, and the price point was great for what you are getting. The location right in town was also super convenient.

My ONLY complaint is that it can be very noisy. We were there at the beginning of the week, so this was not an issue every night, but some of the local bars play extremely loud music late at night, so you are subjected to the thump thump base next door. We're personally used to some noise, so we were still able to sleep, but it would be a problem for someone who is noise sensitive.

The hotel itself is really lovely and beautifully styled, beautiful room and great location. Lovely welcome drink on arrival, the interiors were beautiful and little touches like dressing gowns/hats etc for use were really nice. The staff were super friendly throughout and very helpful when things went wrong

Unfortunately due to a technical error the hotel was overbooked for half of our stay but the staff were really accommodating and apologised and found us somewhere else to stay compensating us for the inconvenience. It's such a shame as we loved the hotel. The only negatives were the very noisy bar across the street (only a problem if you're a light sleeper like me it doesn help), also during 3 days we did stay we didn't receieve cleaners at all so the towels werent replaced or bed made.

Overall this spot was great. The staff at Drift are so welcoming and knowledgable about what beaches to visit, what restaurants to go to, etc. The welcome drink when we arrived was a nice added touch, and we enjoyed having the bar on site. It was a great way to kick off the night, before heading out! One thing to make note of, there is a club directly across the street. We didn't mind the noise at all, but it is loud. So if you are someone who is sensitive to noise, this may not be the spot for you.

We loved the rooms BUT the shower/baths in the middle of the room aren't very functional. Such a cool design but water goes everywhere when you shower. This was the only downfall of having a room with one of the baths/showers in the middle. If you do still wanna have one of the rooms with that option, just put towels down.

The staff was very attentive and helpful. It's a very minimalistic, stylish hotel with a great location. We gelt it was a great value for the money. Also, delicious bar food and drinks!

You had to log into the wifi every time you got in the room again.

This is a lovely hotel in a great part of town. The rooms great and the communal spaces, bar and pool, are so nice. The staff were great and we really enjoyed our stay

We didn't have anyone come in to clean the room or change the bins for our entire stay. We were there for 4 days and even just having the bins emptied would have been enough!

The style! The robes, hats, little touches of design are really great. The staff was friendly and helpful.

There was not deeply hot or deeply cold water in the shower. It was all one temperature, which given I was there in August was not a big deal.

Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out! The staff was incredible, the hotel was beautiful and the room was exactly what I was looking for! I got to try the bar and the drinks were the best I've had in Cabo!

There was nothing I didn't like. My trip was perfect and everything at the hotel was terrific. 10 out of 10!

Had such a lovely stay at Drift San Jose!! The staff was super friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the pool and grounds were beautiful picture-perfect! Loved being out of the party-centric Cabo area and in a more quaint, historic district with tons of cute restaurants and shops to walk to!

The design was amazing -- rooms, showers, pool and bar were stunning. Staff was amazing, super friendly and very knowledgeable about local recommendations.
