Hotel El Ganzo Adults Only

All staff were super lovely and welcoming. Fantastic facilities with a great view of the marina. Food was great also - had an AMAZING beef fillet for dinner as well as a burger. But most importantly we thought the bed and pillows in this hotel were THE BEST. So incredibly comfortable and after 3 weeks of travelling Mexico and staying in countless hotel rooms this was hands down the winner for comfort! Also great live bands on the night we were there. Oh and the rooftop pool and swim up bar was unreal.

Our check in was over 75 minutes late which was frustrating when just staying for 1 night - the hotel offered us a complimentary drink though. The restaurant service was also really slow each time we ordered there. Great food and friendly wait staff but slow to come over or to bring our drinks and food out. The only other thing I'd add is if you are after a quiet, romantic hotel this might not be the best option as it was very much party central when we were there with a couple of big groups in dominating the dining and pool areas. I thought it would be more chilled than it was - in saying that we still had a great last night in Mexico there.

I would like to share my review of Hotel El Ganzo, as there aren't any reviews that accurately depict what you can expect when you visit. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted and assisted by Rosendo, who kindly showed us around and helped us with our luggage. The front desk staff, Paola and Braulio, and their team were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. It's difficult to find words that adequately describe this hotel—it truly is one of a kind. The music, art, staff, and food all contributed to making this place feel like a paradise. The dining experience was outstanding across all of the restaurants. The breakfast at El Restaurant was particularly memorable, with fresh and delicious food. The staff, especially Sarai, always made sure that our dining experience and overall stay were exceptional. One of the highlights of Hotel El Ganzo is its rooftop, which offers an incredible view of the ocean. The staff there, including Jose and another waitress whose name I can't recall, were fantastic. The food served on the rooftop was outstanding—truly deserving of a perfect score. Although my husband and I usually enjoy exploring outside the hotel when we are on vacation, this time, we spent our entire holiday at the hotel because it was so captivating. The private beach was a wonderful addition, with an amazing restaurant and attentive staff. Even the restroom facilities were exceptionally clean—a detail that is important to me. The housekeeping service was outstanding, ensuring that our room was always sparkling clean. I must mention the tacos food truck at the hotel, which served some of the best tacos I've ever had. Furthermore, the hotel offers various activities throughout the week, such as yoga classes, flamenco nights, and DJ performances. They have a spa and a music studio. There is always something happening at Hotel El Ganzo, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere.

Everything was great, nothing to add.

I came with my dog and he was allowed everywhere on the premises which made it so enjoyable. He was able to roam the beach and swim and sit with me when I had dinner. Staff were also so accommodating and friendly with him. It didn’t make me feel uncomfortable having my dog at a hotel (this was my first time)

The staff were phenomenal! But shout out to Armas and Alan and the lads by the pool. You made our stay 1000x better. The rooms were super comfortable. Food was great although extremely expensive for dinner.

The music at the pool was a little repetitive, but much better on the beach. The food for dinner, although fantastic, was extremely overpriced. Dinner costing $200/300 per night…portions for this cost were small. The hotel is a little out of the way with not much around it, although a taxi to Cabo San Juan is only $10 each way. As a side note, get an Uber from the airport not the official taxi. You’ll save yourself $40 each way.

El Ganzo was one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The view from my room was great--I could see the Marina and the beach. The facilities were awesome--there was a rooftop pool, a beach club, and a fitness center. And the staff was always willing to help me and make me feel at home. The room is great, with all the stuff you need for a great trip.

After speaking with locals, I learned about the water access limitations locals face in Los Cabos. After all, we're in the desert. I was impressed that this B-Corp hotel didn't have any signs in the room letting tourists know more about that. We can educate people on how to be more sustainable, like by placing signs or cards (like the one you have for coffee!) about reuse towels, avoiding long showers, and refraining from taking long baths.

This hotel is more like a resort, you can stay on the property the whole time. They have a really nice, relaxing rooftop pool and a separate beach club. The atmosphere is great, loved the art and the vibe. The food at the rooftop pool was good and the rooms are stylish and comfortable. The bed felt like a soft cloud.

I was so surprised to have a fee of $115 for my dog. I saw there was an extra fee but couldn't imagine it would be that much. My dog is so small ( chihuahua) that the front desk checked me in and didn't see her until the last minute and then had to take my card again to charge me the pet fee. I don't mind paying one, I just think that is way too much for any potential "dog damages"

The property itself is beautiful and clean, a very relaxing place. Staff were super nice and helpful. Rooftop view is phenomenal especially from the infinity pool. Definitely have to eat at THE LAB if you stay here. About a 4 minute walk but have the best food we had in Mexico!

Food was extremely overpriced. I mean EXTREMELY. As as the WATER. We ordered water with our tacos and it was 40$ for the WATER!!! It’s crazy!!!!! But yea also there’s absolutely nothing around. You have to Uber everywhere.

Hotel El Ganzo was absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!They truly considers their guest and make sure they are at the center of it all. Beautiful art and manicured landscaping. I would advise all guest to get a massage because it was amazing and worth every penny.They surprised me with a cake and candle upon my departure. I will be returning soon to this peaceful hidden gem

Food was a little pricey but not as high as some of the other resorts but I do understand why because it’s catering to tourists not locals.

My husband and I traveled to San Jose Los Cabos for a friend's wedding. The wedding party stayed at a large 5 star resort but we wanted something different. La Ganzo is an amazing hotel, funky, fun, beautiful, perfectly sized and thoughtfully built. We had an amazing time. It was relaxing but also really fun. The rooftop is amazing, the beach club is fantastic and there are so many great outdoor spaces to enjoy (fire pits, night time music on the patio). I also loved the on site restaurant and bars. I can't wait to return.

Excellent quiet location - highly recommend for a relaxing getaway. Gorgeous views from seemingly every room of the property. Beautiful and interesting art all over! Excellent food and drinks with attentive service. Nice running path around the marina and a few cute shops in the area. There are one or two companies that do fishing/scuba/etc tours within walking distance. I already want to go back! it was great.

I wish they had oatmilk! They make lovely non-dairy lattes but I wish oatmilk would have been an option.
