Hotel Marques Del Valle

The staff is friendly and accommodating. We often stay here because of its central location, elevator, and staff that are available at all times. It is hard for taxis to get to its doors, but they always send someone to help us with our luggage. The rooms are comfortable and clean, if you are lucky you might get one of the rooms with a balcony overlooking the square.

Great location right by the main square and free secure parking close by. It feels like this hotel is a bit of an institution. It was also great that they have free water refill stations.

Hotel is quite old and the bathrooms especially could use some renovation. Hotel restaurant had horrific squeaky Christmas music coming from the decoration. I don't know who come up with that but it made it impossible to have a beer in peace.

Very helpful staff. Could always find someone who spoke adequate English. Near to many good restaurants and two big mercados. Very clean. Big bathroom.

Being right on the zocolo, which is a positive, meant that you could hear the music coming from the plaza. It stopped at 11 pm, so we weren't bothered by it very much.

The view to the plaza and the sunrise were great. The staff was friendly and accommodating. comfortable beds.

The wifi was incredibly weak, non-existent in the main part of the room. We found a corner by the door where the wifi signal came in but you literally had to stay there or lose it.

Location, clean, amable staff, good price

The location is in front of the Socalo, all day from 7:00am-11:00pm you will be hearing music. I was fine but my husband was complaining when he was trying to take a nap during the day o go bed at 9 or 10pm it was noisy.

Best location for Guelaguetza festivities! In the heart of it all. Walkable to all the great restaurants. Staff was nice and helpful always. They provide free drinking water.

internet was spotty in the room but worked great in the lounge area. not For light sleepers. Can be kind of noisy until midnight.

The location is super convenient and the basic services are complete. The place is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. I like that there is an elevator, this is beneficial for elderly and handicapped.

I did not like the shower. The water pressure is strong and the shower head must have many thin holes which makes the water uncomfortable on your body.

next to plaza. a lot of activities. from our window we could see bands playing and people dancing.

our room still had old fashion simple lock on exterior door. other room doors were upgraded with key cards.

Nada! This was an amazing experience(Dia de los Muertos) for my friend and I and the staff was very accommodating .

Staff is amazing. Always felt welcomed. Facilities always clean. Our son got sick on our last night and staff went above and beyond for us. Maybe it’s normal in Oaxaca but to send staff to the pharmacy for medicine at 2am is nothing we’ve experienced before. Service above self.
