This hotel is small and beautiful with great history, since it was an old home from 1700s that went through various changes. The doorman, Sergio, speaks English as well and is happy to share the history of the building. For a boutique hotel, the rooms were very large, with accents typical of Puebla. The bathroom was my favorite. Puebla tile accents throughout. There is beautiful central courtyard with a restaurant. You are a few steps away from the Parian market, and a few more blocks away from the main town square (Zocalo). Great location.
When you stay in the city center, expect the sound of the city most of the day. This hotel sits near a busy street. With that said, the noise calms down in the evening.

Breakfast was good, location very good.
In the shower there came only hot water so I was not able to shower properly and could not wash my hair. First we had a room facing the street that was noisy but we were able to change the room. Difficulties in communication because we didn't speak spanish and the staffs english was not very good.

There is a bar/club next door so expect very loud music until early hours if you are facing the street.

So much noise from the street and the ventilation 24/7 The second night some people had a party at the hotel until 8am, and staff didn't care. Can recommend this hotel.
