Fiesta Inn Playa del Carmen

Our stay here was great! The two rooftop pools were amazing and one was even long enough for lap swimming. The gym was also very nice and had a lot of equipment for a hotel. Beds were extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend staying here as we started our trip staying at a hotel right across the street which was supposed to be a 5 star hotel and it was no where near as nice as Fiesta Inn.

The view was fabulous, tranquility, the room was great for two and our pup, treats for him was a nice touch. Breakfast was amazing, what a way to start the day! The self checkin with our name outside the room was easy. Overall great experience, very happy and will be considered again for sure. Thank you!

Self checkin was easy, however it would have been nice if I had known beforehand which room was ours, we found it “by accident”. Besides that, all good.

The staff were the greatest. We particularly loved Javier the doorman. He made sure we were satisfied & had everything we needed. The hotel in general was clean, comfortable, close to 5th avenue but quiet at night. Adriana, the housekeeper was also a doll. She kept our room so clean. The front desk staff also helped us on several occasions. We had a couple issues in our room with the A/C leaking and the shower head falling off but maintenance fixed both issues ASAP and management bought us a free breakfast.

There restaurant for dinner was fine. However, the breakfast buffet was very expensive. So we only ate there 2 times (one of those was free). You could go to about 6 other restaurants within walking distance & have breakfast for two a lot cheaper.

The rooms were very clean and the staff was very polite. The rooms had all accesories mentioned online. Excellent hotel for a day or two. The pool on the roof and the soft beds were amazing.

A bit to quiet for our taste, before this hotel we were situated on 5th ave with a balcony overlooking the street - simply amazing. This place has a totally different vibe... The room didnt have a balcony althought there are same types of rooms with a balcony on the opposite side of the hotel. We have to mention again, regarding the hotel itself, it exceeded all our expectations that this kind of hotel has to offer.

Location is good, and the hotel is very well kept and maintained. Also the pool deck is very nice- I think it might be one of the best in all of playa. There are 2 pool decks as a matter of fact.

The cocktails where mediocre. Also I remember the description to the room on booking being “Super King Suite”. The room was a 100% ordinary hotel room with nothing “Super King” to it… the bed was a Queen so I really don’t understand why it is being described as a “Super King Suite”…

The hotel was fantastic from second #1! All the staff waa fantastic but I would like to give a special thanks to Eduardo, the best bell boy in town! He received me by opening my taxi door and taking my luggage all the way up to the room without even asking if I needed help! This is a great way to pamper someone making sure you dont need to move one finger to have a great vacation! Seriously the hotel staff is super charismatic allways saying hello, goodbye and asking how you are and what your plans are! They do not sound robotic like most places! The people who take care of you at the pool do a great job! And the pool is super nice with great views to the town and even up to the island of Cozumel! Thank you guys, specially Eduardo at the front door!

Xavier and the other doormen are terrific. Xavier went far and beyond to get us a tour booked last minute. The rooms, pool, lobby and location are great. The room is modern, comfortable beds, large glass windows, I love natural light, huge flatscreen TV but not too many English channels. The room is slightly on the small side but there is a balcony which is nice. There are two rooftop pools which are cool and fairly large for rooftop but not too much shade poolside. However there is a nearby bar area for shade. The gym is great but you have to book your time in there. Everyone is a bit OTT on the mask wearing but I think that’s because of the law. The location is good because the side streets often have the nicer more atmospheric restaurants than the busy pedestrian street although its very close to the busy area. Breakfast was okay, but I preferred exploring to find croissants and great coffee. The value is excellent, my kids thought it was very high end. There are not fridges or a coffee maker in the room but this didn’t bother us.

Shower temperature didn’t always warm up.

The hotel checks all boxes. Location, staff, hotel and restaurant. In particular, their breakfast is wonderful and the roof top infinity pool is a beautiful place to spend a day. Extra perk was 5th ave is one block away!

Excellent location (close to 5th Avenida, coffee shops, restaurants, drugstores,convenience stores and mini markets. Walking distance to cozumel ferry and ADO bus station. We made everything walking) Great pool area Spacious room (big bed, balcony, great bathroom) Great Staff ( all staff is very nice and helpful but I´d like to thank Vivian for helping us booking the PCR covid test appointment. She called to different labs so we can get the result test on time for our flight back)

a mini fridge in the room would be nice but even without mini fridge I would stay in Fiesta Inn again

This was our second time in this hotel and, once again, we thouroughly enjoyed it. Its location is perfect, right next to Quinta Avenida and all its restaurants, bars and shops. The rooms are a great size and the beds are very comfortable. We really enjoy the rooftop pool. We highly recommend this hotel when staying in Playa del Carmen!
