Hotel Bosque Caribe, 5th Av. zone

The location is amazing, half a block from 5th Avenue. The pool was neat, it has a wonderful garden area around it. Breakfast option provided inside the hotel was very cheap. We paid around 40 USD for two nights in a small room with shared bathroom and air conditioner. It was a great value.

We were two travelers and we only got one shower towel, it is very noisy at night but that's ok since it is very close to the famous 5th Avenue. The shower was very small, almost like a beach shower. Bathrooms were supposed to be gender-separated but since there aren't door signs in them guests got confused.

Nice budget hotel in a place that has got a horrible beach.

Hotel was fine but the beach area was smelly and disgusting.

The staff was really friendly, the yard and the pool looked beautiful and the rooms where small but well equipped. After 2 days we got an upgrade to the Departmento which was huge, with a kitchen, beautiful bathroom, separate bedroom and private balcony. The breakfast was simple but good for a small price.

The downfall of being in a central location near 5th Avenue is the noise. You can hear the loud music from the pubs everywhere until late at night. There is a difference though which side of the hotel you are on, the back facing the street beeing the worst, the front and garden facing rooms being quite okay.

could do with kettle in room. other guests noisy at night on corridors.

Location, staff and breakfast ($95 pesos adult & $55 pesos child)

now they charge for parking and its a bit expensive. This is my third family trip to Hotel Bosque Caribe and they now charge $200 to park at their site per day, which I think its nonsense if you are staying plus we stayed for a week. Other than that location and rooms are about average. We had a good vacay :)

The room was pretty small but the location is great. You can reach this hotel from ADO bus station by walking in the main walking street for a few minutes. You have literally all the main attractions 1 minute away from the hotel

The rooms are small but after all, you get what you pay for, so I can't complain. With higher rates I could get a bigger room

Location and price. perfect for a backpacker with q bit of budget.

Wifi wasn't that well. Trouble loading things. And the shared bathroom was a bit old.

Location was very good, just off the north Playa del Carmen Tourist strip (if you like that scene), but within walking distance of less 'touristy' restaurants and shops. Pretty courtyard and small pool. The room was surprisingly quiet, given the nearby party atmosphere. The 70 peso (~US$3.50) breakfast was excellent and abundant.

Our room was quite small for three adults, even by non-US standards.; OK for one or two nights, but for more it would feel very crowed.

Near most of the hot spots in Playa del Carmen. if you’re looking to enjoy the night life, it’s an ideal spot. Free access to tap water, private pool and breakfast service (paid) if you desire.

I’m a heavy sleeper so it didn’t bother me, but expect loud music from surrounding bars and clubs until their closure. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re a sensible sleeper.

Perfect night on this hôtel with my family of 4 (3 adulte 1 kid). Great breakfast. Really nice staff. I forgot my shoes and they kept it for me for 3 days. Thank you !
