This hotel has an excellent location, provides all the basic needs anyone can have when on vacation or business trips. Room is very clean, beds extremely comfortable, microwave, fridge, bar sink and coffee maker in each room with furniture that holds suitcases, bureau with drawers for clothes , an armoire to hang clothes, an iron and ironing board, a digital safe for valuables, a desk area for working a television set with remote, a well appointed bathroom with shower, lighting for any occasion, a washer and dryer in the hotel, a beautiful rooftop pool AND a buffet breakfast which is as amazing as the staff. Can't say enough.

Great location, one block from 5ta Avenida, and short drive to parks such as Xcaret. Nice breakfast. Staff really nice and helpful. Our room was not the best at the beginning, we explain the issue and quickly they change us to a new room. Really happy with the place, fully recommend it. Tours info & booking in lobby, really helpful advice. Nice restaurants infront

Little parking space in basement, have other external parking that solve the need. But when arriving when basement is full, you have to walk into lobby or use a doorbell to request access, and a staff member walk to the external parking to open it. Not a big deal but makes parking little complex at times.

The location is perfect to the main street, bus stop , restaurants and for pick up for sightseeing. The staff is helpful and answers all your queries. The breakfast is a mix of local mexican and american along with fruits and breads. The rooms are clean and the bathroom as well. The swimming pool on the terrace has an awesome view and great place to chill after a long day. At the price it is indeed a great place to stay and enjoy Playa de Carmel

Great location if you want to explore anything around (Cozumel, Chichen Itza, Tulum). Very nice rooftop which is a great break from the action in the streets around. The room is large and clean, breakfast enough to get a good start for a long day out.

It's hard to get anything to dry in the room, AC is the only ventilation and it smells a bit damp in the room.

The breakfast was very good Lots of variety. Staff was excellent Room was cleaned on the days I wanted and cleaned well. On the days I didn’t want it cleaned I asked the housekeeper for what ever I need and she was great. Also liked the roof top pool, hot during the day but nice to sit up there at night and cool off and visit

The room was very comfortable, the stuff was very nice and the pool on the roof was lovely with a sea view.

The only thing that bothered me is that we could hear the neighbors in the next door: their baby crying, their hair dryer, their kids in the morning... And another thing is that the neighbor from the other room was smoking in the shower (i guess because only in the shower there was no smoke detector) and it was a nightmare because all the smoke somehow arrived to our room! Every morning and every night my hair started to smell like cigarette because of it! I complained to the reception few times, they sent someone to check it but nothing as been done... I hope for next times they will take it more seriously.

Huge spacious room, very clean - with all the usual amenities one expects at Holiday Inn Express. Location is great for access to the main shopping street or the beach - everything is within 5-10 minute walk. You can enjoy the nightlife and walk back to the room without needing a taxi. Lots of restaurants and Oxxo / 7-11s nearby.

Great exellentbreakfast very helpful people from the waiters to the front desk specially the lady her name I believe it’s ilyana she serve at the breakfast area she’s very nice good smiling always very helpful and professional

The breakfast was really nice, with due to COVID service was provided by the staff. There were four main options that were tweaked each day with the usual continental options also provided. The location was perfect as the hotel lies only a couple blocks from the 5th Avenue but not so close that you were affected by any noise.

Unfortunately the reception charged the room in my local currency despite me advising clearly that I wanted it charged in mexican pesos. Also while our room had a balcony the view left something to be desired as it was simply a side street.

Very close to subway and a pizza place. Also make cannolis. Cross the street and there is a casa de cambio. And a drug store. Good breakfast. It will keep you going for several hours. Not far away are many stores and restaurants. Within walking distance of the ADO bus station. Like 12 blocks ( if you pack light). We took excursions. Their kiosks or desks are close by as well on 10th avenue. Ferry is close to the ADO.
