I loved how central Singular Joy was and the rooftop was my absolute favourite. You could spend all day just staring at the gorgeous view and the pool was awesome too. Everything was central and my room was cleaned almost every day

it was disappointing that the rooftop was not open from earlier in the morning so that you could see the sun rise. I got chased away from upstairs but luckily took my videos and photos before that happened. also, the room locks weren’t very sturdy so it sometimes didn’t feel as safe. there was 24 hour security which helped. the pool side bar could use an additional bartender but the lady was who worked on her own tried her best and she made great drinks

I enjoy so much staying at this hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the bed was amazing! Many clean towels just for one person, it was nice. Very close to the beach, 5 min of walking and you are there! Lovely pool on the roof! They also looked after my luggage twice, it was very helpful. I highly recommend!

Hot tub was hot one day, then tepid rest of time. There were exactly two towels to use. Then, for whatever reason, housekeeper dropped off two beach towels. We’d bought already. Not the end of the world, but oddly inconsistent.

This is the third stop on my trip to Mexico and the first place that felt truly clean! phew! I love having a little kitchenette in our room, great for left overs. The roof is gorgeous, and the wifi is strong up there. Also, wasn’t too crowded! I got a perfect spot in the shade and was able to work up there for a few hours. Wifi was also excellent in my room, I had a multi-hour video call with perfect connection the whole time. The location is super convenient, no need for a car. (There’s an Awesome breakfast place just around the corner.) Room had extra sheets, blanket and pillow for my son to sleep on the pull out couch - sounds obvious but wasn’t supplied in other locations. We tried to extend our stay for 4 more nights but they were booked, bummer!

A dish towel - or any towel in the kitchen would be nice. Shower pressure could be better Everything was clean, but the couch has some stains - we covered it with the spare sheet immediately, problem solved! I saw complaints about the noise.. we are close to the night clubs here. Our room is on the opposite side of the building from the clubs which might help, but I didn’t even need to use my ear plugs. My whole family slept really well. I highly recommend this place.

I liked everything, the room (a queen studio) was a little small but it was clean, comfortable. The rooftop is Amazing, the pools and jacuzzi and the ocean view, the location is great, everything is close to the hotel, bars, restaurants, convenience stores and the 5Th Ave. I can't wait to back next vacation

The lobby is in the second floor and there wasn't an elevator so it was a little complicated to access with our luggage and there isn't a parking lot so we had to pay for it

I like the location being close to the beach, I liked the pool area and the ocean view.

The pool is way too shallow- hit my knee on the tall steps where I wouldn’t expect steps to be- like a higher level kind of step . No microwave in the room, no coffee machine.The refrigerator didn’t have a freezer, the photos shows this room would have a balcony with chair and table with some kind of street view, instead the room view was a narrow tunnel like wall structure. Water pressure could be better.

love the location of the place, the customer service was outstanding thank you so much for all the help front desk and the housekeeping staff was great.

the only thing I didn’t like was that I never could locked my room because the electronic system wasn’t working even though the security of the place was amazing everything was ok the whole time and nobody touch anything I appreciate the honesty of the staff.

Good location within PDC close to all the activity but somehow completely silent inside the room. There are large clubs just on the corner and you can hear music blasting even in the hallway, but construction is so impressive that as soon as you are in the room you have quiet. Wifi was great throughout the building and though the room is very small, there is a patio space just across from it with a few tables and chairs where I was able to work while cleaning service was there. The rooftop is also great with large pool and 2 hot tubs as well as a bar and numerous sitting areas and great view. The host was very helpful with any inquiries over whatsapp and the cleaning women seemed very sweet.

The room was labelled as a "deluxe apartment" but was just a rather small bedroom with bathroom. Still a decent value for the price and location, but very much misrepresented by that label.

Loved the fact that you can walk everywhere! The property in the middle of all things Playa del Carmen and 1 block over from 5th Avenue.

The rental was on the first floor and the property seems to be on the same street as 3 major night clubs, so expect loud music and the bedroom to shake from music vibrations till about 2am every night.
