The location was the main reason for the choice of hotel,as we drove in from Germany and just left the car for the 3 days and caught the train. It is literally 2 minutes super easy walk to the station and it is a 25 minute ride to central, and you are always guaranteed a seat because it is the start of the line. The rooms were fine, they were clean and comfortable enough. There is a great area downstairs off the bar that is great for sitting and going through the days pictures while you have a drink. The staff were great, so easy to deal with and very friendly. We found the food to be quite simple and good without being amazing. A big breakfast is recommended as it was a great way to start the day.

I think our room at the least could have used a bit of maintenance in the shower area as there was visible water damage and it appeared a little dirty. Not a massive issue but the single beds were not my favorite.

It’s a quiet location with a huge park and beautiful lake behind it to explore (and you can hire bikes at this hotel). Yes it’s the end of the line - but literally right next door to the Gaasperplas train station so it’s super easy for day trips. There’s also a breakfast buffet and food and drinks available all day from the restaurant/bar.

It’s not a convenient location if you plan to go out a lot at night and you’re not with a group and don’t feel safe on train (it’s far from centre and you’d need to pay for expensive Ubers/taxis). Unusual/somewhat unsettling guests next door to me on my first night - a group lounging around in their underwear with all the doors/windows, drinking, and loitering on the balcony outside.

For us, this hotel was a very good option. We were looking for a hotel with free parking as many other hotels charge you from 15 to 30 euros a day to park your car. We also liked that the hotel was located away from the city centre which ment on departure day we got straight on a motorway and didn't have to experience morning rush hour traffic. However, even though the hotel is on the outskirts of Amsterdam, getting to the centre of Amsterdam was very easy. The metro station is right outside the hotel property, and the metro's run every couple of minutes. It takes around 20 minutes to get to Amsterdam Centraal, which for a city is very good. Also GVB (metro, tram and bus) day card is much cheaper than train one, so we where happy to spend only 15 euros on 2 day public transport card. The hotel room was clean and tidy. We spent most of our time in the city, so I can't say too much about the hotel itself.

We found the price for this hotel to be quite high, HOWEVER it was our cheapest option! So we blame the city for outrageous prices and not the hotel. The staff were not very friendly, but that's no different from the rest of the city. A lot of young people working that are doing the bare minimum... sadly.

The hotel was decorated really well, very modern and clean. The bar and restaurant area was really nice, with games to play such as table football and chess, this came in handy on the day we were due to leave as we could sit in there while we waited to go to the airport. The rooms were a good size with a TV on the wall, a good wardrobe space, a desk and a very nice bathroom with a good sized shower. The window opened on a secure latch, or could also be opened wider from the inside if required, this meant it could be left open securely on the latch if required. Additionally, there were powered shutters on the outside which were useful to keep the room cool while we were out. The hotel was in a great location, it was at the side of Gaasperplas metro station which is on the main line to Amsterdam Central Station and metros run regularly until after midnight. It was also next to a really lovely park that has great spaces for BBQs, kids play areas, nice walks and areas to paddle in hot weather. The staff were friendly and there was free tea and coffee in the reception area that could be taken to your room to use with the kettle. There is also a little area in receipt to buy essentials such as water, snacks and The hotel was very quiet.

There was no air conditioning in the room which was difficult in the heat wave. There was no place to fill up water bottles other than the bathroom tap, it would be good if there was a watcher dispenser that was available 24/7 (there's a water dispenser in the bar area but this gets turned off). We couldn't locate any shop nearby which would've been useful.

I have used this hotel on many occasions and it does not disappoint. The staff are always very helpful and the restaurant and chefs are great selling very tasty food at a reasonable price. location is great as within a couple of minutes you can be on the transport into town.

Rooms could do with better air conditioning. Better staffing to have such a busy hotel and have the receptionist running the reception and the bar is a bit too much, even though she was a very cheerful and helpful in both her roles.

The hotel is located in a great place neaby Gaasperplas red line Metro station only 3 min walking. The connection with Amsterdam Central Station is every 10min and easy access to the Airport using the train via Amsterdam CS. The room was little small but well equipped with an table and chair. The beds were ok. The wifi works good with smart phones but not with laptop. The stuff was very very helpful for all questions and they kindly offer the possibility to have your coffee in your room without extra charge. Generally value for money, quiet location and it is recommended

Dear friends 2 beds means 2 chairs, 2 cups for water etc ... Please put one more chair. The noise at the 3d floor from machines in the roof is affordable but why ...? And also wifi connection with laptop is impossible while with smartphones work perfect. Anyway the positive is the smile of the staff.

Great location, staff were incredibly nice, personal touch by providing free sun cover for the car even if we didn't ask for it , ample parking space. Close proxomity to metro amd Amsterdam Arena. Was ae to check in almost an hour before the given time.

Lack of things like microwave and fridge, had to place a towel on the bathroom floor so water wouldnt go to the rest of the bathroom floor. At nights guess more so weekends it gets pretty noisy sometimes with busses parking at the car park and drunk visitors of the hotel but during the week it was quiet. So working on ways to cancel the noise from outside would be great. But positive stay overall for sure.

Location is excellent, at the end of the Metro line to the Central Station. So you can park the car (free) and get around with the excellent public transport. Rooms are modern Campanile standard. Staff excellent, breakfast good. Had evening meal one night which was also good.

Nothing, absolutely "does what it says on the tin". Campanile good, basic and reliable, hotel chain. We have stayed in many over the years - this one may be a little above expectation.

The hotel is a very short distance from both main roads and train links to the city centre. Car parking was available which is a premium when trying to park nearer the city centre - the train cost €3.20 each way and took about 20 mins with 3 services an hour running into the night. Breakfast was a good Continental offering with good quality and choice. A lift is available to make transporting luggage to a room not on the ground floor easy. Whilst the location was near a bus turn-around and road junction there was minimal noise - security shutters likely helped as the window was open for ventilation.

Finding the hotel was somewhat challenging using a sat nav which was a couple of years old - the road network is comprehensive to say the least and junctions and turns were difficult to follow. Once found the location is ideal for access to the rail/bus network.

The building and the shared areas are both really modern and attractive. The staff was kind and, after the check-out, allowed us to leave them our luggage for the day. It was permitted us to access our room before 14:00 (which is to be considered the standard check-in time). The breakfast was really good. Also, although its notable distance from the center, we found the Gaasperplas area to be a quite clean and safe neighbourhood, full of utility stores and green spaces. But most importantly, the metro stop is unbelievingly easy to reach.

When we first arrived, the room wasn't that clean, although it might have been due to the fact that we clocked in a bit earlier than expected. Due to the hotel's proximity to a big park, some insects or spiders might get to enter your room. Sadly, after midnight (when the last run of Amsterdam's underground ends) it results quite difficult to reach the structure from the centre of Amsterdam: the nocturne buses which are still working at that time of the day drop you of at a twenty-minutes walking distance from the hotel.
