Fletcher Hotel Amsterdam

Breakfast was good & varied. Drinks in the bar, reasonably priced & comfortable surroundings. Room very comfortable with heavy curtains to block out the light Lighting good Although there is a busy motorway junction outside, the traffic can't be heard 15 min walk to train station to catch the Metro into the city for a cost of around £5.00 or there is a bus station also Parking good for 16 euros per visit Jumbo supermarket 10 minute walk

Advice & information on local taxis, transport, shops, activities, 'whats on guide' would be helpful

I loved the building very unique . Me and my partner enjoyed the fun of having a shower in front of the bed very quirky .

The only problem. for me was the toilet inside the bedroom was not private enough because it was too close to bed and it echoed which meant I had to go down into the main hotel section and use the bathroom if you know what I mean .

the round transparent shower in the middle of the room is odd, open bathroom structure

that under the bed hadn’t been cleaned, we found a new condom under the bed and red rose petals

New hotel and excellent location close to Amsterdam and the high way.

The hotel charges its guests a fee to park in their parking garage. Parking should be complementary in a 4 star hotel.

Housekeeping did not clean dirty cups or anything Else except new towels and fix tve bed. She left the trash.

Really nice hotel.

Super cold room my whole stay even if the heat was on full.It was not comfortable at all even in sweats and hoodie and knitted sweaters.Every day the key card got deactivated at 12 even if it was a 3 night stay so there was some back and forward to the reseption .

booked a double room but the “bed” was just two mattresses together and I kept slipping off the bed

The staff were very friendly. The location was great for what we wanted it for. The room decor was unusual and different.

The room is interesting in its design but not practical. The basin is in the living/bedroom area outside the toilet which is not very sanitary, the shower doesn't have shelves inside for toiletries (there is floor space but nothing higher) and also easily leaks water into the living/bedroom area with nothing to stop it reaching the carpets in the room. This would not stop me recommending it or staying again but i would at least be prepared for it.
