Cityview Hotel

Location was close to central station and other public transport. Staff were friendly and helpful with my questions. Room and bed were comfortable.

Expensive for such a small room. A bit noisy and you can hear noise from outside during the night.

This was a great location for a single traveller not looking to spend any time at the hotel, rather just "sleep and shower" facilities. The clean, compact room had a very comfortable bed and the staff were friendly and helpful. Superb central location, close to Centraal station and with some great Cafe's and bars very close by so dad easy to find breakfast.

The room was very compact with only a small window looking into a side alley, hence you will want to get up and out quickly. No drawers or wardrobe but a small hanging rail for 6 or 7 garments over a small built in desk. Adequate for what I needed but could struggle if more than just a few nights stay.

The hotel is an old building recently renovated so it is very charming. It is not (in my opinion) a hotel made for long stays, since you only have stairs and a tiny elevator that wouldn't fit a big suitcase. But if you are going to stay for a weekend or short trip I think this hotel has everything you need. The room is spacious and the bathroom eventhough is a bit tight, it is well equipped. The location is fantastic, 5 mins walking from the Central station so you have all the public transport options, but also walking through all the city center you have everything in a 30mins radius. They don't serve breakfast, but you have: 1) a croissant and coffee station at the hotel in the morning (free) and 2) plenty of options nearby to go have a full breakfast. If I have to come back for a couple of nights to Amsterdam I will be seeking out this hotel.

The single beds are extremely small, in the sense that you have to be careful when turning at night or you might fall out of them. They are confortable tho, and for a couple of nights I think you can manage taking into account everything else the hotel provides in terms of atention and location.

The location is brilliant! In a street with lots of restaurants, coffee shops and amenities. Very close to the Jordaan area and within easy walking distance of the main tourist attractions, Dam Square, trams etc. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was clean. Very good value for money.

The room was perhaps smaller than I'd envisaged but I'm not complaining about that. The stairs are maybe a bit steep but there is a lift anyway.

The property is located 5 min from the Amsterdam Centraal and it offers the basics for a comfy stay in the heart of Amsterdam. The people working at the reception were above and beyond and they offered to assist us on each query we had. Highlight of our stay was that a receptionist found us a bike when needed in a very sort notice, which gave us the change of going to our destination on time!

The owners might need to rethink the room design at one point, asit is not practical for everyone (bathroom).

The receptionist Jacqueline was so lovely and welcoming. We were greeted to free coffee and croissants which were available each morning before heading out for the day. The location of this hotel is perfect and so close to the central station.

The flooring was weird and felt sticky when bear foot. It doesn’t appear to be the most hygienic material and should be replaced. The wash room was an adequate size but when the shower was turned on all of the water overflowed to where the toilet and sink were located - this meant shoes had to be worn if we then need to use these facilities. Not very practical.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for us - efficient rooms just a quick walk from the central train station, canals, restaurants, and shops. Jacqueline at the front desk was absolutely amazing and had a recommendation for us every time we asked! There was a coffee machine and croissants in the kitchenette downstairs which was a great start to our day. The rooms were small but had everything you could need and plenty of windows! We were very glad we just had backpacks as the stairs were classic Amsterdam stairs - but the property does have an elevator if needed. Would highly recommend staying here!

The location was brilliant, short walk from the train station and all major attractions. Lots of really nice cafes and restaurants near by. The room was very clean, and staff lovely.

We had a very low shelf over the head of the bed, which was not ideal and you could very easily hit your head. Which we did, several times. Completely ridiculous place to put a shelf.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff are really nice and helpful. I was arriving to Amsterdam by Eurostar train and the Central station is 5 minutes walk, which was great. The hotel is in a very quiet and nice area. The room I had was very very small, but it had everything needed.

The room was very small and didn't have natural light. But it had everything needed and a complete bathroom.

The two people at Reception we met during our stay were extremely friendly and helpful and provided suggestions for places we might want to visit. We did look these up and are very happy that we went to see them. The contemporary interior design of the hotel was very clean and attractive. The location was excellent for the plans that we had.

I did find my single room rather small and especially in the bathroom sink area.
