The location is the best part of the property. Only a 8 minute walk from the train station and central in the city centre

Rooms need to be sound proofed better as you can hear people’s conversations clearly

The fact that we asked for a room in the top levels of the building, but upon arrival were informed that the hotel doesn't even grant these type of wishes. Our room's minifridge didn't work and contrary to what is advesrtised, the hotel rooms arent sound-proof. You can clearly hear the sounds of the street, hallway and even other rooms.

The location was great since it is very close to a bus stop that is only one stop from the Centraal station, which has all the possible public transportation options. that meant we didn't have to lug our baggage very far at all. The room was very pleasant ( although I would ask for one toward the rear of the building next time because of street noise). The breakfast was average for the cost in Europe.

The breakfast was unimpressive, although I don't know that it would be any better anywhere else, so it was convenient at least. That and I don't know what a "normal" breakfast in Amsterdam is considered.

The location is great! 10 minute walk from the station. It’s situated along a trendy street with plenty of great restaurants and cute boutique shops as well as a couple of supermarkets for supplies for the room. Your away from the noise and within walking distance to the square and the main strip. The beds are really comfy 😀

Nothing majorly wrong with the hotel as it’s a lovely boutique hotel however if you’re booking the breakfast is very limited and not a lot of choice. We had the rooms with balconies which are small but the balconies are a great space and we didn’t spend a lot of time in the rooms anyway.

The hotel is in a great location only a 10 minute walk from the station with lots of great cafes near by. The room we booked had a spacious balcony which was lovely. We were able to store our luggage after checking out which was handy. The bed and pillows where also very comfortable.

The room was very very small and we struggled to fit our suitcases in the room as we had large luggage. If you are only doing a weekend trip with small luggage or are a solo traveller, the room size is perfect.

Small hotel, very conveniently located, about 800m/10 min walk from Central station and city center. Interesting neighborhood with many restaurants and small shops. We had a large room at the 5th floor, accessible only via a narrow staircase (as the elevator goes only to the 4th floor). But the room was spacious with standard hotel equipment. No disturbing noises from other rooms. Attached to the hotel is a decent steak restaurant, very recommendable.

Hotel and room somewhat run down, but clean. Not much of an issue. Low water pressure in the shower. Limited choices at the breakfast. You can hear the trains of the near railway and the hourly bell ringing of the church (not at night), this may disturb sensitive guests. We missed some hooks near the room door for our coats.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Bank Hotel. The hotel is is in a great location - not far from Central Station or most of the attractions. Situated in a neighborhood of shops, restaurants, and, if one is so inclined, Cannabis shops. The room was a little small, though probably normal for the building type., and we had a little balcony overlooking the neighborhood. We were greeted by a very nice staff member, which I believe is the same that answered my email questions (Krizzle was the name on the emails), and she was very helpful in person with questions and phone calls. The breakfast buffet was an extended continental - lots of variety, so no excuse to go hungry.

The room was rather compact, and we did not like the glass wall separating the bathroom and sleeping area.

Staff is not proactive and professional

The location was central and was great. The breakfast was great. The front desk people were very helpful and were very pleasant.

The beds were shaped strangely and my tall (>6 ft) husband would roll off the edge as the top matress didnt fully overlap the bottom matress, the bathroom wasnt initially cleaned properly and I had to ask the cleaner to come back and empty the garbage that was smelling, bring more pillows and there were less towels than people in the room.

We were a family of four traveling (two parents and a 13 and 15 yr old.) We booked a family room with four twin beds. It was clean, had enough space and a big, clean bathroom. The AC was great. There was space for each person to put out their suitcase. This isn't a ton of space, but it was cool, with comfortable with good wifi. Centrally located in wonderful Amsterdam. Close to several cafes that had delicious coffee and pastries for the morning.

Hallways were a bit dark but nothing that made them spooky.
