Location was excellent, space and view were wonderful. Quiet and felt like a local's home. Art was beautiful, place has a nice feel with a combination of old and new features including large modern shower and double basins paired with traditional tiles.

Pillows were old, some without covers. There was no hand soap, shampoo etc. It was a little chilly in the evening, a few throws or blankets would be useful for relaxing. A bit dusty in places and no access to the back courtyard.

Great location. We loved looking out the window and seeing the canal. We felt like we had a great location, close to the station, close to the town centre, plenty of places to eat nearby. Fritz was a great help, very friendly and gave us lots of ideas for food and places to go. A few people have commented on the lock for the door- there’s honestly no issue with this as there is a safe and no one accesses the house. Others have mentioned the mould in the bathroom- these houses were built in the 1700s…these houses are old and old properties come with their issues- it was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable, pillows were a bit thin though! We would definitely book again and would recommend to others too.

The location is perfect, and the room/view are very charming. Bed is comfortable, shower is great and very clean. It's on the ground floor so you really feel you are "in" Amsterdam (and it's not noisy at all by the way). Excellent wifi.

The only negative is that no one answered the phone of the contact who was going to let us in. I had two numbers, two names but neither answered, although I had been very clear about our approximate arrival time. Fortunately the lady living in the was around and let us in, so we were not delayed or inconvenienced in any way.

location was perfect; comfy bed; light airy apartment; friendly helpful property manager; lovely local restaurants and cafes. Short walk to station and tram stops.

The apartment was located in a large house and there was no lock on the apartment’s door so when we went out it felt odd that other people in the building could access our room. The apartment could do with some basics such as water glasses, mugs, and soap.

Everything about this property was perfect! The staff were extremely helpful and so kind, the check in and out was a breeze, and they are very quick to respond with questions or suggestions on places to eat and markets, etc. It’s in the most perfect location, and I really can’t say enough about this place— 10/10 recommend!! i hope to stay here every time I’m in Amsterdam.

The location was EXCELLENT, we walked everywhere, it was very close to the centre without it being loud 😀 The amenities were just what we needed, the place was comfortable and just as its name says, cosy, it was the perfect place for us.

The pillows but that may well be a personal preference for firmer pillows. :)

fabulous location with a beautiful view

had to call the host to meet me with the key when I arrived which required paying for data. there was only one key and no lock box so no ability to split off from my partner at night (we had other friends in town too). I reached out to the host about whether there was shampoo but he never responded.

Beautiful view ! Comfortable bed ! Nice location! Interesting experience of a canal house!

The security of the door. There is not lock on the inside door! Anyone with access in the building can enter to room!

This Apartment was an absolutely amazing find. Fantastic layout, everything we could have needed. Perfect location to explore Amsterdam and immerse yourself in the City. Loads of great bars, Restaurants and even a Market full of locals not tourists. We particularly enjoyed Noordermarkt on Saturday and exploring the canals.

Could have had more time.......

Perfect central location, very quiet, spacious rooms, lovely view on the canal.

A bit better equipped kitchen would be great to prep a nice breakfast. That carpet could need a shampoo or some fresh rugs to cover up.
