Quentin Zoo hotel

The room (duplex) was a good size to sleep 3-4 people with enough privacy to accommodate for example two couples. The bathroom also had enough privacy. The room & bathroom were clean and tidy. A lot of beautiful design furniture. Body lotion, shampoo & conditioner available in the room, as well as some other amenities. Temperature of the room was easy to manage, you can also open the windows to let in some fresh air if needed. Beds are of good quality and clean. The location of the hotel is very quiet, but still near the city center, a lovely park and a few bars and restaurants. Breakfast options available nearby (Coffee & Bites only 2 minute walk away). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Option to leave your luggage in a safe spot before check-in or after check-out. Perfect for couples or friends.

Everything was exactly what I needed and expected.

The best choice in Amsterdam for an affordable-intermediate price. Clean, beautiful and nice staff. Well located and convenient - close to the tram, center and main rail station. Available rooms for groups - we were 7 and took 2 rooms. There were cheaper options around but for a bit more this elevated our stay a lot ensuring comfort and cleanness, we are very happy to have chosen it. Recommended!!

Location quiet neighborhood walking distance to center, offered complementary breakfast last day.

No staff 24 hrs, but thank to the gentleman that he is already on call and helped us in 15 mins for room key aftef the reception closed

Tram station just outside the door so we found it was a good location. Some local restaurants in the vicinity. Staff were courteous and helpful. I would likely use this hotel if visiting again and would recommend it if you dont need pampered.

Room was clean when we arrived but ongoing cleanliness was a little disappointing. Only smaller coffee cups were in the room and they didnt seem to wash them for us each day and no milk was supplied. Bathroom soap supplies were not replenished when required. Staff were helpful when asked, but it would be nice not to have to ask - these are simple things that could be easily fixed by management.

Cozy room and extremely nice staff. The area seemed a bit away from the city center but we soon realised there's a lot of hidden gems in the area. The tram stop right in front of the hotel is very convenient and the metro station is also not too far away.

Depending on the room you get, you may hear the tram, it's not running throughout the night though, so it's not too bad. We unfortunately had the luck of having a group of guys on the floor who were treating the hotel like a hostel, coming home super loud at night.

- very nice staff and very helpful - location is great in front of the tram station - 10mins from Amsterdam Central by tram/bike or 15/20mins on foot - they upgrade our room and they throw a special decoration for the rooms as we were celebrating our anniversary. Very nice touch of the staff

- no convenience store or supermarket near the hotel - the room was not super soundproof, we can hear continiously doors slamming because hotels’ guest don't think to close the doors behind them they slam them all the time especially at night so it’s bit annoying when you try to sleep

Our hotel room was very clean, and was cleaned daily. The shower and bathroom was lovely, and the room was warm. Also a very nice touch having a mini fridge and safe in the bedroom.

I’ve seen other reviews complaining about the bedroom door width (about 3/4 width of a regular door) and the hallway corridors leading to the rooms being too narrow. This was not an issue for us, and I believe this is common practice in hotels in Amsterdam. If you are on the larger side, I can’t see it being an issue, I’m 6 foot 5 and 215lb and had no issue navigating the halls and doors.

Good location, quieter area but only a 10 minute tram ride from central station. Tram stop right outside hotel. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Our room was modern and had a lovely bathroom with large shower. We had breakfast included and they had kindly bought me gluten free bread and crackers in. Enjoyable stay.

There was building work at the back of the hotel with a large crane over the top of the hotel and our top floor room. The noise started quite early in the morning, fortunately we were out and about all day so this was the only time it really bothered us.
