Eden Hotel Amsterdam

Location was amazing. Staff was very friendly. It was recently renovated.

Bed had a hole in the middle. Room was too small for the price paid. No elevators and you need to go up to 3 floors on Dutch stairs with your luggage.

our room was spacious but the bed was not comfortable- it had a big dip or valley in the middle. the bathroom was really nice.

the stairs were small and hard to do down. the carpet in the hallways had stains all over, kind of noisy at night

If you are bringing big luggage be aware that there are no elevators but only stairs, it was not really a problem for us.

the hotel was absolutely fantastic. The day before my wife and I were coming over for our honeymoon our original hotel had cancelled our reservation. so I booked this one quickly. I can say they went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We were given a room upgrade, a card, lovely decorations in the room and chocolates. The staff were always so helpful with anything we needed and all went out of their way to help. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be centrally located in Amsterdam. I’d just like to thank all the staff for everything you did for my wife and I. We wholeheartedly appreciate our stay with you.

nothing, everything was perfect

This hotel is in a great location. Close to various areas in the city without being loud and in the middle of it. The staff was also very nice and helpful with anything we needed.

While this didn't affect us, there is no elevator so bringing luggage up the stairs could be very difficult. Our room also didn't have a fan, so when we showered everything seemed a little wet.

Rooms and corridors were relatively small. Fine if it's just a base to explore the City, but not great if you want to spend any time in the room.

The hotel is centrally located and the location is great. Less than 5 mins walk for the closest tram stop. The hotel is about 15 mins via tram to Centraal or about 30 mins walk. You are very close to a lot of attractions. Lots of cafe's & restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable, clean, and a good size for 2 people. I would definitely stay here again.

No complaints.

Location was excellent. Within 15-20 min walking distance to everything. Bed was also very comfy… I was sleeping 9+ hours a night, felt like I was at home. Also appreciated that we had heating/cooling in our room as it was raining and very cold while we were in Amsterdam.

House keeper woke us up the first morning when she entered the room, even though we had our ‘do not disturb’ light on, but after that it was all fine.

Great location, easy to walk around city, tram stop to Central Station nearby, 24 Hr reception, friendly staff, nice big room, good strength shower

Only gripe is that bed was two single beds together to make a double. Wasn't a true double mattress.

As it was our anniversary the staff left a trail of rose petals from the door to the bed where a bottle of champagne was left surrounded by a heart of the petals. The room was very clean and spacious, and the bath was huge!! Very comfortable bed.

It would have been nice to have the tea/coffee station fully stocked. We ended up buying our own coffee and sugar sachets from the supermarket.
