It was a nice little apartment that was a nice home away from home. It was a good location, an easy walk to the zoo. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was good.

The apartment needs a little TLC. The dishwasher doesn't work, and so some of the kitchen items were a bit grubby. The shower didn't drain well and so the bathroom flooded; the roof leaked a bit in the rain; there was a ladder and a few other similar items stored in one corner, which was a bit ugly and unfortunate. It just needs a bit of TLC to make the place a 10/10

This trip was a 18th birthday trip for my step-daugther. Suffice to say she had a wonderful time in Amsterdam, and she found the flat perfect as a base. She loved the room and facilities, it was in a great location, and she said it was lovely and cosy. For my part, it was a pleasure dealing with the host - great communications, friendly and helpful and he even gave them two bottles of bubbly. Top notch service - thank you for making a great weekend for them.

I asked my step-daughter and she said "the fact that we had to come home" :) There really is nothing not to like.

We like the convenience of the location and the local amenities close to the property. The property is located on the ground floor, so no stairs to climb especially if you have a lot of bags. The host was gracious and welcomed us with a bowl of fruits and a lovely bottle of red wine. Bonus: also being warmly welcomed by good boy Bob the dog (he lives upstairs). It was a pleasure to cook in the retro inspired and fully equipped kitchen. The beds and sofa are super comfy and cozy too. We took a night stroll along the beautiful canal and it was safe. The property is beautiful and true to the pictures posted in the profile description.

Wish we had more days to spend at GH Amsterdam. Locking/ unlocking and opening the door from the inside was a bit of a challenge, but manageable and definitely not a deal breaker.

Very friendly owners that offered airport transfers. Fresh fruit, juice and yoghurt provided for breakfast (although the photo of the English breakfast is slightly misleading and this is not included) The studio has a superb location as it is quite centric and amenities and metro very close-by. Superb shower

Very noisy, you can hear everything including creaking floors and stairwell. Not the comfiest bed, the mattress is quite dented from use and needs changed

the shower was a problem, the drain seemed to block very quickly so after being in the shower for only a few minutes the water was flooding out of the bathroom door. made it difficult to have a proper shower. Also got a phone call from the owner to complain about the noise, we were listening to music and having a drink before going out, not ideal so would probably opt for a hotel next time.

Apartment was perfect for us, very clean and had everything we need (hairdryer, hair straightener, expresso machine, fridge). Supermarket and bakery close by. The metro station is just across the street. Would certainly recommend this for a couple, close to restaurants and cafes. Richie was an amazing host and answered all our questions, even picked us up from the airport and dropped us early to the airport when we were leaving!

It was a very nice stay. Very spacious. It was very near the university U-bahn stop. It was close to a lot of museums. the description said it had a washer along with a full kitchen. we assumed it was a dishwasher. They had a dishwasher AND a clothes washer. Richard was very gracious and exactly what one would look for at a rental property!

Everything was really nice

Our host was very helpful and friendly. We were given very good directions to the property and offered transportation to the airport, which we accepted, at the end of our stay. There was plenty of room, with a good sized and comfortable bed. The location was good. It was quiet and comfortable.

location is great! It is walking distance to city centre and 10 min to zoo :) it is very quite even though the traffic street is nearby. No stairs - easy to use baby trolley. clean an comfortable. very friendly and helpful owner

Fabulous location to explore from. Well stocked kitchen and the fresh fruit for breakfast was a great treat. Very comfortable apartment and perfect with lots of space. Friendly hosts who are quick to reply to messages.
