Manukau Motor Lodge

The house keeping crew are so lovely and really know how to do their work.As a client/customer they are the joy of the motel were they keep everything looking clean n wonderful.

Ididntunderstand the fine print when I went to check in it was our #2 time booking a room in less then 3month and I did the booking online which was cheaper and then being told I used a debt/visa card not a master Visa card and should have put a deposit $200 which throw me off.I told the front office lady that I didnt do that the #1time and that I didnt see that online and then near the end she then mention it should have been $300.....I told her what was it $200 or $300 it was abit tense.But hey I let that go may me think again about booking there in the near future....I paid so what was the problem.

We stayed in one of the spa bath units on the top floor, and it was a lovely surprise to see that the room was better than we expected. I told one of the staff this morning that the photos didnt do justice to the standard of cleanliness that was apparent when we arrived! Comfortable, spa bath was awesome, top notch clean and given its location pretty quiet but central to motorway access, shopping venues and various attractions and activities

The only whakaaro that my partner said would maybe come under this box, is that he thought an extra 40.00 cost to change to a late check out at 12pm (2 hours extra) was a bit steep considering total cost for our overnight stay. In comparison to other places with availability of similar room type / amenities etc etc, it was a little bit more costly but was perfect for where and what we needed

Loved the shower n bathroom/kitchen excellent....location very handy...kids loved the swimming pool, which helped to cool down on hot days...I enjoyed the sauna....beds clean n comfortable....friendly reception n housekeeping staff...able to have visiting family for a few hours before heading off to lunch n dinner...

Too hot in apartments even with fan on n doors open but that's Auckland weather for you!!! (Always windy in Wellington...lol) Big vehicles parked close to entrance n narrow to get past more ideal to park down the end of driveway with more space available to them... And that I/we didn't stay longer...lol!!!

An overnight stay was comfortable and cost reasonable for 3 people. Close to lots of amenities. Had basic essentials we needed ie jug, microwave, TV, comfortable bed, linen, extra toilet paper

We did find one pillow with two gross looking stains on it but I've experienced worse and not fragile about it however others may not be so. Putting it here to keep motel accountable. Just didn't use it although it smelt and felt fresh and clean. We make mistakes as it may have not been spotted by the cleaners but otherwise linen etc was nice and clean smelling. Plenty blankets and room was warm. Recommend cleaners checking both sides of pillowcase before putting these on pillows. Oh and there was no tea towel so had to use a bathroom hand towel, not for the dishes though. Majority was all good. Would stay again.

As a family of 2 adult parents and 2 adult children, we were unable to get a family room, so we had no option but 2 book 2 separate rooms. Adding extra expense. Location was one upstairs and one down. We felt separated. However, both rooms were very nice and offered a comfortable bed. The airport traffic was deafening at night and early in the morning. Spa bath in room was excellent and relaxing. Rooms were well equipped and spacious with sufficient refreshments and soaps, etc.

I would have to say I wasn't pleased to be told by office staff on arrival that I have to get a credit card. I choose not to have a credit card. I feel it's my right to make my own choices. He did, however, let us off on this occasion with no credit card and accommodated us with a waiver of bond for the 2nd room..😊 thanks

The Room at the Manukau Lodge was great for the our AKL pit stop before returning to Wellington. We had a crew of four people, including my partner and I and it was great. Rooms were great, it was in a great location and the staff were helpful in allowing is to book in later than what was communicated. Great service!

Nothing much to write about here, a pretty clean and easy experience. However, For me, an air con unit is pretty standard in most short term accomdoation nowadays and the lack of one in our particluar room did make for a hot sleep, might be something to consider. But besides that, not much to crtique!

The room was so clean, dust free, everything right to the little kitchen, the shower, toilet excellent house keeping it was so beautiful.. The bed was to our comfort, so firm good for our backs..Loved it.. The location was very handy to our family reunion, which was held in Mangere..I would recommend Manukau Motor Lodge to my friends, families or to anyone..We will return to the Manukau Motor Lodge in our next trip to Auckland..The staff were excellent friendly, helpful, with open arms and a smiling face..Keep up the excellent work..

There is nothing we didn't like, we really loved every moment of our stay at the Manukau Motor Lodge.. So handy to everything, Supermarket Pac and Safe right at the back..

We choose Manukau Motor Lodge to stay at, as it is close to Auckland International Airport. The room was clean and comfortable. Ceiling fan as well as standing fan. Great little kitchenette. Bathroom was clean, with good hot shower and water pressure. Beds were clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly even though obviously busy at the time we checked in. Noted a laundry room with washer and dryer. Great location! Short walk to Westfield Shopping Centre, bottle shop and takeaway places. We had a delicious dinner and drinks at the bar and restaurant also in the same vicinity. Supermarket, petrol station also across the road. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Narrow parking if you have a bigger vehicle.

Lovely staff. Great location. Comfortable beds. The staff attendeding the rooms...do a good job. Over all the rooms were lovely and clean...and that's a credit to the fantastic staff doing a very hard job of cleaning them. ...just don't forget to check places like the microwave!Friendly happy pleasant staff is always a must...which you had Thank you.

Shower pressure in room 7 was bad. No locks on the bathrooms. be nice if the pool was heated...just a bonus ! We found food in the microwave from previous people. .

Internet was very poor and kept cutting out.
