Greenlane Motel

Room was very clean, and so were facilities of shared bathroom and kitchen. Sparkling white linen, good bed.

Our room had a bit of smell, which the manager said was due to just having cleaned the carpet of some tomato sauce. But then we read a review online complaining of a smell in that same room... Shared bathroom floods when someone takes a shower. The parking lot is tiny - be prepared for 20 manoeuvres to get yourself out.

some one using rubbish bin whole night, couldn’t sleep probably, every after one hour someone come and drop the lid of rubbish bin , that sound didn’t let us sleep probably

Room was clean, the owner greeted us when we arrived and also helped carry my luggage up the stairs which was lovely. The room was of a great size. Price point for a last min booking was also good. Shower was also nice, bed was big and relatively comfortable.

It wasnt too warm when we stayed, however if its hot outside, there is no fan or air conditioning. Place is off a main road so traffic can be heard if youre a light sleeper.

Clean and spacious room, Sky TV, toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave!! Shaun very helpful and welcoming on arrival.

Tight and limited parking but fine for my Honda Fit. Bigger cars fine too but a few turns needed.

The best pillows, I have ever had at a motel. Bed was huge. Smelt and looked clean. Sky movies.

2 x Easy fixes - No milk in fridge for a cup of tea in morning, and no compendium so didnt know what was the deal with breakfast. Not so easy a fix - People on walkway from 6.15am going out for a smoke. Woke me up.

Were only there a couple nights and stayed in the deluxe double room, it had the basic essentials which is all we were after ! The man in reception was lovely, let us check in early and gave a late checkout upon request. Overall waa great ! Easy walk from Mt Smart stadium.

The staff were really great, the room was clean & comfortable. They left chocolate milk, bananas & yoghurts in the fridge for my children which was so nice. Thank you.

Difficult parking

Just what we needed, great location to Mt smart, the man who checked us in was super lovely we had to add another night on and he gave us a great price. Very happy would definitely stay again!!

Shaun the owner made this a good experience. He is always available and makes you feel most welcome. I well done Shaun

the location is ok but if you don’t have a car. not many returned close by and therefore it’s Uber east or a 20 minute walk to countdown for groceries.

The motel is basic (but what I expected), and absolute top marks for the service I got from the manager. it is helpful to be aware that the motel is located on a busy main road.
