Ellerslie Palms Motel

The room was clean tidy, wifi, house keeper was great to deal with

I had locked my key card inside while going out for a smoke around 10pm and tried calling motel staff numerous times, had no answer so had to try break in. Eventually got in. And was charged 450 odd dollars for lock replacement. Unfair as i tried calling staff over 10 times and didnt get back into room until 4am the next morning

room was clean and bed was extremely comfortable, everything we needed for a weekend away.

only complaint was the heat pump was only blowing cold air.

A very good room for a family had everything available.my most favourite room in the whole place.

The hood range screens were not clean and had oil stuck on it that drew out a very yukky old cooking oil smell, so I soaked it in dish wash hot water for a whole day that finally took the horrible smell away. We never cook whilst away always takeaways or eat out a lot easier no mess to clean. Besides that I love the place and always stay there..

Everything, it was so convenient for us to stay here the receptionist is Amazing, she makes sure your stay is comfortable, as we had 3 babies and alot of stuff we were put in a top unit but we had asked to be moved downstairs to make it more easier for us, and she immediately acted on it straight away. They have the most comfortable beds ever that I have slept like a baby on, the first ever hotel that has ever satisfied my everything 🥰 Only one thing is the curtains and windows, have to keep them shut so no one can see in our unit, other then that it is beautiful.

Beautiful room Quiet and very, very clean. Everything you need to make it a great stay. A very well equipped kitchen and generous shampoo, body wash, etc. Great location for SENZ conference at Ellerslie Racecourse. Lovely friendly staff who went out of their way to help us. I loved getting a reply to my email asking for a downstairs room.

The aircon would only blow cold air so we asked the staff to fix it, which they tried but it didn't go to the warm mode at all. The manager brought us a heater though, which worked well and very much appreciated.

The receptionist was so helpful and friendly. Our unit was clean and comfortable, a lovely big bathroom. We had a Queen bed in a separate bedroom and used a comfortable single bed in the roomy lounge area. Parking outside the unit was easy. And so handy to central Auckland.

Didn’t like the fact there was no milk for my hot drink, only powdered Creamer.

Very, very obliging staff and very friendly. Great facilities. We needed to keep adding days on for almost a month. The staff were able to keep us in the wheelchair unit and even rang people to ask if they would mind us staying in there. Very, very helpful for us as my husband was in hospital and we weren' sure how long he would be in there.

Have someone in the office at all times, have the laundry open more often, change the beds more regularly.

Clean and modern rooms with air conditoning and free parking. Unfortunately I believe the Motel has been sold and will soon be used as an Ministry of Social Development emergency housing facility which could make it less attractive for the tourist market. Absolutely check to see if this is the case before booking as my reviews above may be irrelevant if this is the case.

Location was great! All staff were well mannered and welcoming as well as being very helpful. The room was spacious and as seen in the pics. Comfortable, warm, great place.

I think a dishwasher might give me more confidence in the cleanliness of the dishes and utensils but o also couldn’t imagine where it would fit as it’s perfectly laid out interior.

the original room they gave me the tv remote didn’t work and the room smelt vaguely of smoke but because of the remote issue they allocated me a room that was far more superior ,there was no one at reception so the cleaning staff were. there but not very helpful of friendly tbh ,however I would stay there again as the room I was allocated was Spacious. and the shower facilities were great , overall for the price , highly recommend
