Bks Egmont Motor Lodge

Good location. Nice bathroom and spa bath. The bed was comfortable and there were comfortable chairs to relax in. The lighting was very good unlike a lot of motels we have visited. Lots of channels available on TV.

The TV didn't work at first. The lady at reception (motel sitter, I think) was very pleasant and helpful and it was eventually sorted. The second night the TV didn't work for us again. This was quickly fixed and we were told we had used the wrong remote to turn it on. Fair enough, but we used the remote that the written motel instructions told us to. Do the instructions need updating perhaps?

Good location. The room we stayed in was ideal for a family. Good to have access to Sky/Netflix etc. The staff were particularly friendly & helpful & resolved any issues immediately & efficiently. The room had plenty of towels & kitchen items which was appreciated.

The Wi-Fi was really poor which was particularly frustrating if watching Netflix or for the kids devices. It was also super hot in the room although the fans provided made it bearable at night.

The location was perfect for visiting the light festival. Easy to find. Ceiling fan was incredible as it was very muggy. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Amazing water pressure. Nice to have iron and some other stuff provided if we needed them. Couldn't hear any other guests.

Felt like we might have run out of toilet paper (but we didnt). Plunger coffee was provided but I couldn't find the plunger. I probably could have asked tho

Staff was friendly and we never wanted for anything. The apartment was spacious and fully stocked.

Tv was too high up on the wall for my taste and I wish there'd been a hand held showerhead for easier showering

Stayed in 1 bedroom apt with spa - note it doesn't have a sofa bed - it is just a sofa. But they kindly got us a spare foldable single bed to sleep on. Roomy place. Bed in bedroom was huge. Very quiet. Couldn't hear road noise or other occupants. 2 tvs. Loads of channels in lounge room tv. Parking at the door. Clean and tidy. Very friendly. Would definately stay again.

Nothing to fault with a 2 night stay.

The spa bath. The owners were a lovely couple, we were stuck isolating there for a week and even though they ARE NOT an isolation facility they were more than accommodating with the protocol and checking in to see if we were okay regularly.

The cleaning lady had a bad attitude... Accused me of leaving the room in a mess from a past stay where I feel she may have me confused with someone else??? I'm not a messy person so I find it hard to believe that she could have such an attitude towards me over something I didn't even do?.

The size of the two bedroom unit was excellent and the furniture including the beds were very comfortable.

The outside area needs to be better maintained and the bathroom door handle is the wrong way round making it very awkward to open and close the door. We had a neighbour that was noisy and was smoking weed, the smell was very strong that we had to keep our outside door and windows closed.

Comfortable accomodation close to town and units had everything you needed for your stay.

Double glazing to cut out some of the road noise at peak times if you have a unit next to the road like we did.

I love the rooms in this motel, they offer a lot for a great price! Good bathroom and kitchen with everything incl. microwave. Super comfy bed with electric blanket. Very clean. Welcoming and friendly staff. Not far to CBD, near racecourse . Recommended 💯

The 2 bedroom unit suited us very well. A good unit for people with mobility issues.

It was great to have lounge chairs. We had to use cushions on them as higher seating is for us. Grab rails in showers and by toilets should be the norm now.
