Coronation Court Motel

the manager was extremely helpful. and hardworking and generous with his time plus upfront re his unfortunate staff shortage (due to illness) for that week. There is on-site parking and approx 5 min to city by car. and my studio was clean and tidy, and as advertised.. Economical option.

It is an older motel, and to my eye, neglected in the past, but clear efforts are being made by the current manager to repair and improve. the cleaning staff were away sick the week II was there. but I only had to ask, and help was at hand

Clean! Helpful service. Had everything we needed. Huge space, big comfy bed, nice linen. Microwave, fridge, spare blankets

The lights are bright! One bedside lamp or dim, soft bulb would have been more pleasant.y 4yo likes a light on to sleep, but of the 6 or so lights they were all super bright so I put a shirt over one wall light to make it soft enough. The bar heater was surprising- there are cheap and safe Heaters at The Warehouse that would be more energy efficient and safer for children.

Clean, tidy and comfortable. We were given the choice of 2 rooms, and we chose and returned the key for the other room. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was well maintained and clean. A decent carton of milk was provided, and there was tea, coffee and sugar. The soap in the bathroom and shower smelled lovely. The bed was comfortable and had an electric blanket.

When we went to wash the dishes though, the bottle on the dishwash came off and spilt everywhere, and wouldn't go back on properly. Also the bowl provided to wash the dishes in was a bit small and awkward to use. There was no hot chocolate provided which was a bit of a let down, and no spare pillows in the cupboard. One of the plug sockets didn't work.

The owners were very helpfull and nice. gave us some good tips on kids activities happening during our stay. rooms were confotable and warm. The place was clean and we were happy to have a little kitchen to use

soap in the shower didn't work but we used the soap from the 2nd shower. some plates/bowls were missing but they gave us what we needed directly.

The owners were very kind, welcoming, and tried to bend over backwards to make sure everything was as comfortable as possible. They're very hard workers, and ran to make sure we had everything we needed as quickly as possible.

The plumbing is rather loud so if someone has a shower in the room next to you, you're going to hear it and maybe wake up.

close to town with easy access via the main road into New Plymouth. Older style accommodation but suited our needs as friends (not a couple) well. We had room to spread out and bedrooms were separate from the lounge area. Reasonable kitchen.

The towel rail in the combined shower/ toilet room meant that wet towels would be hanging over the toilet while trying to use the toilet facility.

The whole unit worked well for our group. Thank you for supplying fresh towels each day. Sheets were lovely and clean Good to have both a microwave and oven available Needed the heater and the electric blankets one night

The bathroom, especially the shower stall needs a very good clean A lightly warm iron would have pressed the newly washed drapes If you are going to carry on with nets they need replacing in places

The motel is certainly a little older, however we found the facilities clean and fairly well equipped. The bed linen was most definitely top-notch, and the manager was very, very attentive, friendly, and helpful. Nothing was a problem, even when the office was meant to be closed!

The beds were a bit lumpy and uncomfortable and the shower could do with relining.

Location, beds, the room we were in, New blinds and curtains in living room. Staff always helpful and friendly. Always book with this motel with ease.

Just a suggestion...maybe outside like the deck, stairs and carpark, driveway needs an update?? Other than that always enjoy my stay here. Thank you 😁 again. See you next time

We booked this hotel as it is one of the closest to the bowl of Brooklands for LAB. The reviews were only average but really is value for money. Nothing flash but our studio was clean and tidy. We were able to have some quiet drinks before the concert without complaints. There were others staying also going to the concert so the place had a good vibe. The bed was really comfortable

Please provide the lovely cleaning lady with some sort of trolley or cart! As we were leaving I watched this middle aged lady carrying all the dirty sheets and towels from the front rooms. Three massive loads wrapped up in 3 sheets. She was stopped over with the weight of it, an accident waiting to happen. By the time I returned the key to the office she had gone or I would have helped her. Please get her a trolley!
