Vila Recife Hotel

the staff were very friendly and the hotel was kept very clean

there wasn’t anything to dislike but thought the pool and area could do with some maintenance

beautiful building, fantastic location, friendly staff, great value for money

its too near the church, the bells go every 15mins during the day - however it will only effect you if you go for a nap in the afternoon to try sleep off your hangover ha

The room is not cozy, did not like the wool blankets. They had no zip-cover. Overall room was not cozy somehow.

Hotel Vila Recife was a great location only a 5 minute walk to the old town and had everything you needed near by. It was close to all the shops, restaurants and bars with the beach only a short walk away as well. Great facilities at the hotel - pool, aircon, tv, fridge, breakfast (although we didn’t get breakfast in the hotel) etc… We throughly enjoyed our stay in Albufeira and having a good hotel to stay in added to this. The receptionist let us leave our bags until our room was ready on the day we arrived. Everyone seemed very friendly in the hotel, from reading the mixed reviews before coming we didn’t know what to expect but honestly it exceeded our expectations!! Would definitely stay here again if I came back to Albufeira and would recommend this hotel as the location is ideal.

The pool was quite small and didn’t have any parasols outside. If you want to be near the main strip it is a distance away but the location to the old town is amazing - we spent the majority of our holiday there.

I don't understand why the rating of this accommodation is low. The location is just perfect, the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and the staff always ready to help. I arrived very early before my check-in time, waited for 2 hours with a lot of headache, it was clear the effort they were making to try to get me into a room quickly, and it was done. I had a problem with my room air conditioning, I was quickly changed to another room (I would say even better) and my problem was solved. And I would like to highlight Pedro who is very polite, friendly, attentive and people like that deserve to be recognized. I highly recommend this hotel. It is simple, cozy and offers everything necessary for an excellent stay in this magical place.

The location is excellent, rooms are clean and fresh towels daily. Breakfast is basic, but good enough. Fridge in the room was great as well. Very good value for money. If you're looking for luxury, this is not the place.

The swimming pool could do with some renovation and there are a lot of seagulls about in the pool area, so there is dirt. This is not the hotel's fault and they clean this every day.

Do not listen to negative reviews if you expecting a 5 star hotel, move away. I am upset this hotel has such reviews. You pay what you get for! Great location and friendly staff. Decent size room with balcony. Next to many attractions. Will miss this place will use again if you ask me.

Air con did not work but I think its been misused as its been on all the time. Open the balcony you be fine. Only two sockets which not next to bed. Bed could be more comfortable but its good for your back! Not complaining.

Everything in the Vila Recife was superb, it was a little gem of a find for our stay in Albuferia. The staff were lovely & helpful, the breakfast was what you expected for a continental breakfast.

The only thing that i found i didn’t like was there were no umbrellas around the pool area.

Everything! All the staff are friendly , the room is comfortable and they clean it every single day. The pool is a nice spot to chill and relax when you don’t want to walk down the beach . Speaking of food the buffet breakfast is well and freshly prepared and i like the idea that they’re using the eco friendly napkins that’s a plus points. Location wise ! My gosh Vila Recife is recommended, 8 mins walk to the beach and close to all lovely restaurant . Last but not the least a walking distance pubs and live music in old town . Such a wonderful place to stay for your holiday! 👌

excellent location, staff bend over backwards, reported a drain smell in the room first morning went to beach come back and it was gone. I find if you communicate with staff nicely, they will sort any queries you have. Patricia on reception throughout the day was always so accommodating. lady on early evening apologies didn’t catch her name she was also a dream. we were in bed by midnight most night so only saw the man on after midnight during check out who was also very welcoming. a very positive hotel experience, I bought ear plugs to help with the noise from the bars until 4am, helped tremendously. will defo return! the terrace is to die for and the pool is perfect, sun until about 5pm. will defo be back!
