Rocamar Exclusive Hotel & Spa - Adults Only

The pancake guy was great. The rest of the buffet was pretty basic. The location was really good - 2 minute walk to the beach and 5-10 minute walk to central old town where all the restaurants and vendors are.

The pool area was small and if you didn’t wake up early enough and grab a pool chair there isn’t anywhere for you to sit and put a towel down. Once people are there they tend not to leave for the day so some sort of rental or rotation system for the chairs would be better - we were never able to use them during our stay. The beach is close though, and there’s lots of room there, and you can rent chairs and umbrella for 20 euro.

Location was fabulous as was the spa. Really enjoyed our time in the jacuzzi , steam room and sauna . The breakfast was fresh and it was great you could get freshly made pancakes. It was spotlessly clean and fresh towels and toiletries everyday. Most of the staff were very friendly.

The closing time of the residents lounge and having to queue for breakfast if you wanted a seat inside but that wouldn't be a problem if weather was warm. Delighted we didn't pay for a balcony as some of them look out onto horrible old buildings. I thought the deposit of 100euros per person was a bit steep, it should be per couple. What can one really break in the small room??

The hotel was amazing. We had a fab room. Even for a land view.. The staff, every member were so superb. All at reception were very attentive and did everything to accommodate everyone. The housekeeping staff were the best and the bar staff were excellent. I can't fault any of the staff across the hotel. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Even poolside toilets and showers. We're so so clean. Always stocked with toilet roll. And hand towel paper and soap and so clean.

The only thin was maybe the lack of sunbeds. But the viee and the pool are were amazing.

We arrived from Lisbon & luckily got a parking space on the side of the road. Loved how close the hotel was to the beach - just a short walk. I liked how the pool was over looking the beach & just generally relaxing. We used the spa - staff friendly, facilities great- I liked that the spa will only take 1 room at a time so you get the facilities to yourselves. The room was bigger than I expected & had everything we needed (loved the balcony overlooking the beach). The hotel was only a few minutes walk into the old town with plenty of restaurants & shops. The hotel were very helpful & arranged our transfer back to the airport & let us access the facilities after check out to enjoy our last few hours on the beach

Breakfast was average (I did love the pancakes made in front of you but some pastries would have been nice). In general staff are friendly, however when it comes to breakfast there seemed to be pressure to just get breakfast over with. Staff seem hectic & rushed to finish up breakfast. 2 mornings in a row (at different times before 10) we were greeted with an unhappy man looking at his watch & pointing over to a table - not a welcoming or relaxing way to start the day. The bed / pillows are quite uncomfortable. I loved using & relaxing near the pool but it was freezing meaning I could only use it in very short bursts. There is also a limited amounts of beds beside the pool (maybe 10) meaning you might just be sitting beside the pool edge.

We chose this hotel for it's location. The hotel has direct access to the beach and you could walk to restaurants/bars from the boardwalk in front of the hotel. They didn't have parking but you could easily find one around. The room was quite large, the bed was comfortable and we had a nice balcony with a beach view. No issues with hot water or AC. The breakfast was really good and it had different options. We used the pool once and it was nice and refreshing... and even though the pool area isn't large, it wasn't crowded. We asked the front desk for a wine bottle opener and they said it was against management policy... so we asked if they would open it for us but it was the same answer! That is the first time I hear about such a policy ... even with other hotels with restaurants/bars services. Other than that, it was perfect for our needs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone just bring your own cork screw ;)

Breakfast choice was excellent, very well run by staff, plenty of food. The facilities in the hotel were fabulous, the cleaners did a great job and the waiters were very attentive to guests.

I would have liked a choice of different milks, eg skimmed, semi skimmed and for the milk to be cold as it was a little warm. The only other thing that was disappointing was the pool area, twice we visited the pool and were unable to use it as sunbeds had been reserved by guests who had left the pool area. We decided not to try again and went to the beach and hired sun loungers for the day.

The location great The hotel room very comfortable and clean the staff very friendly and helpful. Our air con not working first night but as soon as it was reported it was fixed immediately

There are limited amount of sunbeds but the hotel did not enforce the rule regarding people placing their towels on sunbeds to reserve them which is unfair and annoying I don’t think this should be allowed

We used the spa several times during our week-long stay. It is better than you would think - sauna, steam room and hot-tub, in addition to some exercise equipment @ gmail nough for me. The massages were good and are good value - ;back massage was 20 euro. Breakfast good. We are one evening meal at the hotel which was nice. Towels supplied which can be used at pool or beach.

The pool was a little on the cool side, and there could have been more sun-beds. I should think in high-season it would be necessary to go to the beach as the pool is not big. Fortunately the beach is very close.

Couldn’t have picked a better location! The hotel is over looking the beach and within walking distance of everything! The hotel itself was absolutely fabulous and bedrooms were pristine. Staff were very friendly, couldn’t fault them !

The pool was a bit small and no poolside bar. Not the end of the world though, beach on your doorstep.

The room was ready when we arrived at 10.00 am which was a fantastic bonus. When I opened the curtains to the balcony, the spectacular view took my breath away. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The breakfast selection is excellent & of high quality (except the coffee). Overall, a great hotel.

Breakfast coffee not good, tasted like instant.
