When you have a car, this location is perfect starting point. As other reviews say breakfast is every day the same but I would not say poor. A lot of options from bakery stuff, English breakfast, ham and cheese etc. We stayed 7 nights and it was perfect. Price vs quality - totally recommend!

Walls are thin, so you can hear quite clearly your “neighbors”.

Breakfast was fine, but everyday the same - it would be nice to have a variety. Room had a balcony with a nice view.

In our room we had a small kitchen, but there no equipment at all (not even fork or knife, not even talking about plates or frying-pan). So it was a waste of place in the room.I would not recommend to spend additional money for the kitchen if you do not have all that equipment). The small TV that we had in our room was not working properly (image was blurry), so we had to ask a few times until technician finally came the fallowing day and changed the cable.

The location of this property was great! There’s a nice strip of restaurants & bars across the street. You can even walk to Cristo Rei for a small hike/photo opportunity. Short drive into the city of Funchal, so you can still enjoy the city without staying in it. Easy to get taxis/a car service if you’re not renting a car. The outdoor areas were beautiful. Two outdoor pools, plenty of lounges, outdoor plants make it feel so tropical and stunning!

The free breakfast was the same everyday and to us wasn’t plentiful enough to keep us full for a long period of time. No Wi-Fi in the rooms BUT there is access within the lobby and places to sit and hangout.

Location is really good, 5min to Funchal, there is beautiful beach near hotel

Doors on rooms are really thin, you can hear everything even when someone is passing. Sometimes its annoying when drunk people try to get to their room in the middle of the night.

In general terms everything; the perfect balance was found. Size of the room, cleaning, location, tranquility, facilities, swimming pools, restaurant/terrace location, breakfast provided and staff! Thank you!

Our room didn't have air conditioning and we need to sleep with the door open and because of the wind the sleep wasn't as proper as desired. Also I needed to adapt to the bed and my bad not to ask for a different pillow after the first night; as the last night I slept with a different one from my friend and was a big difference. The hotel doesn't provide parking space. However because of the period of time of the year (beginning of May) was easy to find free parking near by.

I enjoyed a lot this hotel since it was very simple but comfortable. The position is super nice and not far from Funchal centre (10min by car) and from the airport (15min by car). The room is simple but nice and cleaned everyday! Breakfast is international and pretty complete. Overall a very good experience for me. Parking right in front of the structure for 0.4€/h but only from 8am to 7pm and free on saturday afternoon and sunday.

Only potential improvement: internet also in the rooms (today is only at the lobby) and more electrical plugs in the room.

Good location, nice room with balcony and ocean&pool view. Nice outdoor unheated swimming pools with a surrounding garden. Very good breakfast with a nice terrace and a nice view. Small supermarket and many restaurants are in the same street. Staff very friendly and helpful (Alexandra).

Parking on the street with a lot of traffic (€0.40/h, free at night). Reception and restaurant in a separate building accessible from the street. The water in the pools was too cold at the end of November. The bathroom is a bit older, carefully with the adjustment of hot/cold water, recommended replacement with new bathroom equipment. No Wi-Fi in the rooms.

Breakfast: Good breakfast with good choices. The food is almost the same everyday and is good. Room: We had a 1 bedroom room on the top floor. View: Awesome view on the coastline below. Tip: If you park on the same street you have to pay, but if you park after the roundabout, the parking is free. Overall the trip was perfect for us. We were a group of family and friends. We hired a rental car so moving around was not an issue.

No lock on the bathroom door ;)

Nice location, easy to reach. Grocery store and couple of restaurants just across the road. Plenty of food for breakfast. Very friendly staff.

Wifi only in lobby. Coffee for breakfast was terrible but it's easy to find a good one in the restaurant nearby.
