Hotel Sete Colinas

Exceptional location with metro station right outside the hotel. Also walkable distance to the city centre (20-30 mins). The staff was very kind and helpful. Room is a little small (Standard Double), but that was not an issue for us. It was clean and well equiped with all amenities, an air con, and a comfy bed. We had a small balcony with the view to the main street. Overall we had a nice stay and would consider coming back :).

Breakfast was simple with small selection, but still good. Enough to start the day off. A wider selection of fresh fruits would be nice. The fragrance in the corridor was very intense, but that is just a detail and did not affect our stay.

Metro entrance is right in front of door and Metro is easy to use. Room was very comfortable for 3. Just needed it for sleeping and showering. Also, very quiet. Breakfast was decent to get the day started. Staff was very friendly.

Staff sold us the Hop On Off bus in Sintra. The traffic there is terrible and we had to ditch using the bus because we would spend over an hour waiting at a stop. Also Pena Castle has timed entry ticket that you cannot get same day, at least for a decent time. I know this might not be there fault, but they need to know, if they don't. Also, just trying to give others a heads up. We did not get value for the ticket we purchased.

Great location (walkable to center and downtown, metro station just outside the door, tram 28 stops close by), friendly and helpful staff (girl at the reception is especially service minded). Hotel has good breakfast which can be enjoyed at the terrace when weather allows it. There is iron and ironing board available on ground floor. Conditioning system that can be manually adjusted is available in the room. I’m still surprised hotel has only 2*.

Shower door does not open fully which could be an issue for a bigger person. I’m not sure why this door construction was chosen (at least in room 203). It was not a big issue for me, but could be a challenge to get into shower for a bigger person.

Overall very good stay, great localization, clean and nice room as well as bathroom. Cute small balcony, friendly staff.

Breakfast could be more diversed. There were no vegetables at all. I could rate breakfast overall as 6/10. Not bad, but can be improved.

Location is absolutely exceptional as you are literary 5m away from an entrance to a subway station. The area itself is good as well. Addition of breakfast was a big bonus for us, as you don't have to wonder where to it. We found the offerings to be quite good. Eggs, sausages, serial, yogurts, and plenty of pastries. The room we had was really nice. Each floor has only 8 rooms so you don't get much foot traffic. Bed was very comfy, shower was spacious, the room was good size for 2 people.

A few wall hooks to hand little bags or hats would of been great. Just a small touch.

The room was very nice and clean. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was modern and spacious enough. We even had a tiny balcony with two sits and a small table but the view was to the buildings behind, so we didn't spend much time there.

We opted to have our breakfast included in out stay. There was a variety of sweet and savoury options of everyday breakfast items to choose from but my partner has some food intolerances and he esentialy could only eat fruit and black coffee. I would suggest to add at least one option of gluten free bread and maybe a lactose free or plant based milk to the selection.

Excellent location as just outside the gate is the metro station which can take you to different location of city like Baixa, Alfama district or Colombo city center area. Room was on the smaller side but it offers excellent view of the main street and ample air ,light and sunshine. It is not exactly in City center but very well connected to the city centers through metro andit is close form airport too. Staffs are really helpful and they provide you with all sort of helps possible.

Rooms are on the smaller side ,could have been bit more spacious. The property has breakfast service but no kitchen facility for lunch/dinner and also very few cafe/restro nearby in walking distance to grab food.

The hotel location was amazing, we had to walk just 3 seconds to take the metro to the airport and just 20 minutes walk to different touristic places. Breakfast was delicious, I have to say that Portuguese cuisine is fantastic and the hotel did that very well, the coffee was the best that we had in a hotel coffee machine. We had pasteis de nata each day with some other different sweet treats. Cheese, ham, eggs, different types of bread, real orange juice. Even though the breakfast place is super small, they had a lot of variety. Staff was super kind and helpful. Room was good, big enough and clean. Shower super good and the noise at night wasn't a problem. Good hotel

Pillows wasn't so comfy and the size of the bed could be bigger, but not so important. Breakfast room could be bigger, the hotel hosts many tourists, however very good hotel in the city

Very friendly and helpful staff, the room was comfortable, and the hotel generally had a nice atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was great, with plenty of options - bread, eggs, meat, cheese, pastries, cereals, fruit etc, and an excellent coffee machine. The location was great, plenty of cafe's and restaurants nearby, and the hotel is right next to the metro station as well. Would certainly stay there again

The breakfast room in the morning was always very crowded and seemed too small for the amount of people who stay there. On some mornings there were people who couldn't get seats and had to wait. However there is an outside area that looks like it is normally used for breakfast as well but it wasn't open as I guess it was too cold at the time (I was there in January).

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom a good size with everything you would expect. Unlike an increasing number of hotels in Europe now, this one included breakfast in the room price, which adds/added to the value-for-money aspect of our stay. The breakfast was also pretty good in terms of selection and quality. For some, this hotel may be a little bit away from what might be seen as the main tourist areas, but there is a metro right outside the hotel to get you quickly to most places you might want to go, including a very easy and not-too-lengthy journey to the airport. One thing for light-sleepers, though, is that on the lower floors of the hotel it is possible to hear some of the metro trains rumbling on their way.
