The room was lovely and clean. We stayed on the seventh floor so very quiet. Bed was so huge that I almost lost the wife in it. Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was euro style buffet with plenty on offer. Location is ideal as only a stones throw away from the metro. We have used this hotel before many times and the staff and facilities are exceptional. This hotel is based on the Vila Nova de Gaia side of the Douro River but only a very short metro ride to Porto itself. The area and Porto is extremely safe for travellers at any time of the day or night.

For the price I cannot find anything bad to say about the hotel or area and would like to thank all the staff for their hard work. From the cleaning staff to the catering and reception staff. All friendly and courteous.

Due to a cancellation from another hotel, I had to quickly find a last minute stay for one night and this hotel was perfect for that. Clean, friendly staff, comfortable, and located just off the metro/bus line and just a short 15-20 minute walk to Porto. Room included a small fridge and I LOVE that the windows opened!

View was a bit disappointing (mostly a large shopping center) but honestly such a small issue and wasn't why I booked the room anyway.

Really good breakfast. Friendly, efficient staff who restocked the platters regularly. The room was functional but fine, shower was really good. The car park was good for 9 euros a day, once you knew what to do. Next to a metro if needed, although we walked to the river each time.

Minor thing but the lifts were very small for 2 people and luggage. The doorstop to the bathroom.was awkwardly placed and kept stepping on it.

We got an upgrade when we checked in. The bed was super comfortable and we had a large balcony in our room. The location was convenient as it was located next to El Corte Ingles (a shopping mall). The parking was full but we parked our car in the street in front of the hotel.

The rooms need a little renovation and a deep cleaning of the sofas. The shower was not working 100% and the mini fridge was empty. A bottle of water would have been great :)

the location in Gaia, on the west side of the Douro River, is on the rail line one block from the metro station that provides access into Porto. They provide parking (at an additional but fair price). If this is your first time to the Porto area it is a good place in terms of staying away from the fray of Porto. There is a shopping center across from the metro station (one block away and same side of street as hotel) so if you need to find something you can get it there. Staff was helpful and friendly.

We had a good stay. The only thing that sticks out 'negatively' is the elevator is small, so 2 people with bags can be tight.

Very kind staff and ready to find solutions. Easy to communicate and warm hospitality. Position quite good but not close to the river. Rooms comfortable and minimal. Smart TV, minibar (to be fiilled) terrace and coffè espresso machine. Tram is beside the hotel.

Structure does not have restaurant inside. Parking with van not available. All the area is unattended payid parking. Bed a little small...

We had a really comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the location was great as the metro was very close to the hotel.

There was no wardrobe or drawers in our room. This would be a good addition to an otherwise comfortable room.

the doors in the rooms were peeling.. the bathrooms need some upkeep...the showers are rusting walls are peeling so this was unpleasant to look at on a daily basis when you are paying 200 euros per night breakfast would be nice to have some options for warm eggs or omlettes.

Conviniently located, just few meters from the metro station and only four stops from the heart of Porto. The room was very big and clean with all amenieties. The staff is really nice and helpful and they answer to messages fast. I booked a room without breakfast included but then decided to try and was worth it! Highly reccomended

Good hotel for a few nights in Porto. Metro with easy links to the centre at door. Nice restaurants around the area. Comfortable room, nicely renovated

We were in a smaller building next door to the main building, connected in the lobby, but maybe a bit older (?) and possibly not as nice as rooms in the main building. Room was a bit noisy from the street and looked smaller than in photos.
