It was in a quite neighborhood, however very close do Villa Nova de Gaia and the historic center. The owner was a really great guy, always smiling and willing to do the best for you. Breakfast very very rich and tasty, I spend almost two hours there. In addition, there was a welcome wine drink and some chocolates in the room as well as fresh water.

Even the room was spacious, the wc was tiny and the shower was actually in the room. The floor and some parts were not 100% clean.

Lovely hosts and very comfortable stay, they even made us a takeaway breakfast on the day of our departure as we had an early flight.

What a gem of a place to stay. Antonio and his team are the perfect hosts without being intrusive. Nothing is too much trouble. Cleanliness is of the highest standard, the location is perfect, a few minutes walk from the cable car & bridge. Breakfast is beautifully served, all freshly selected with a choice of fruits, meats, cheese, breads, yoghurts and eggs just how you like them cooked. The coffee is delicious, freshly squeezed juice and water are freely available. The rooms are spacious, modern and very tastefully decorated and the complimentary toiletries are worthy of mention. A lovely welcome touch was a small decanter of Port and chocolates. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we will return. :)

The main highlight were the staff who were very kind and helpful. We appreciate their individual approach and friendly atmosphere. The room was clean the bed was large and comfortable. Our room was cleaned every day and we were given clean towels every day. The breakfasts were excellent, we got fresh scrambled eggs, coffee and juice every morning and had a choice of sweet or savory breakfast. The location was great, only a 5 minute walk from the metro stop and the Jardim do Morro gardens which had a great view of the river and bridge. We were really satisfied.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Serra do Pilar Porto Suites  in Porto for the first time, and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at home. Their warmth and friendliness really stood out to me, and it set the tone for my entire stay. The room itself was spotlessly clean and tidy, and I would say it easily rivaled the quality of a four-star hotel. The attention to detail was evident in everything from the decor to the amenities provided. I felt very comfortable and relaxed during my stay. The breakfast that was served each morning was absolutely delicious and plentiful. The staff members who greeted me each morning were always so friendly and eager to help in any way they could. I really appreciated the care they took to ensure that everything was to my liking. Overall, my experience at this hotel was truly perfect. I can't thank the staff enough for their exceptional hospitality and for making my stay so enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Porto and would love to stay here again in the future.

The location is great. A few minutes walk from Gaia Gardens and a beautiful view of Porto. The staff was really nice and helpful. It comes with delicious breakfast included in the price. Very comfortable bed. The room was nice and clean. There is everything you need. Almost Perfect

Unfortunately, my first night wasn't as good because of the way rooms are located. Room nr 3 is just right next to stairs, which every guest walks past, and it was quite noisy or the fact that reception is just below room nr 3 and you can hear everything because bed is prety much right behind the doors, but it's just the way this place is designed. Would definitely come back, but I would hope I would get any room apart from nr 3 🤞 It's not really anyone's fault, but inconsiderate guests, I suppose. Still WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND 9/10

The room was large, well organized and we were provided with a small but lovely bottle of port wine and mineral water. The bed was huge and the pillows and mattress were very comfortable! The staff (particularly Antonio) were very helpful and available when needed. The bath linens, soaps, moisturizer, bath gel were all very high quality. Fantastic location! On our final day, we had to catch a bus early and they provided us with a lovely to-go breakfast. A fantastic stay all around!

The TV in the room was not smart, which was a bit disappointing! Otherwise nothing bad to say!

My daughter and I came to the hotel for Christmas and stayed there for 7 days. Over the past year we have been to different parts of Portugal and stayed in different hotels and guest houses, but this guest house is really the best! Great location next to the metro, close to the Gaia cable car and many attractions! The rooms are in good repair, they are warm and dry, despite the winter season, and we have never even used the air conditioner for heating. I want to note that everything in the room is thought out to the smallest detail, right down to the towel holders and light switches, which are located exactly in the right places! The hotel is clean, cleaning every day! The buffet is very varied and delicious!The hotel staff is excellent, friendly, sincere and unobtrusive! Special thanks to the owner Antonio who was always available when needed and always happy to help! My nine year old daughter is delighted with the hotel and our holiday! We will definitely come back here!

Everything was great!

I totally enjoyed my stay in this property. Everything was extremely clean and tidy. The way the property is set up is perfect; you can just go in and out by your business without having to face anyone at reception (unlike most places). The breakfast staff are so friendly and pleasant. The room was super comfortable and spacious. The manager was kind enough to allow me to check in earlier (which was far more convenient for me). I sure will be returning to this property at some point and will be recommending it to my friends.

This was a very good experience: - Just a few minutes away from Ponte Luiz, the gate to the city center. You can reach the cathedral in 15 minutes on foot. - Very nice and quiet room. No noise, good beds, the shower took some time to deliver the hot water, but once it is flowing it is good. Everything spotless clean, and cleaned on daily basis. - A glass of portwine is available in the room - Very good breakfast, which is prepared with a smile (eggs / coffee / muesli / toast / ham and cheese / ...)

The only thing to comment is that there is no reception, like in hotels. We were 1h too early for checkin, but we called, and within a few minutes we were well received, so nothing big
