The location of NUMA BRIO is just excellent at just 15-20 minutes away on foot from the major Gaudi sights. It is also conveniently located in the Gracia district which has a very local feel and good bars and restaurants. The hotel is easily accessible by public transport from the Airport (we took the airport train to Passeig de Gracia and then walked about 15 mins). We could store our luggage in a safety box till later in the evening as the access code was valid to 20:00 on our day for departure.

Days after we had booked, the management changed from Gracia Gardens Boutique Hotel to Numa Brio. The Numa concept is basically that you arrange everything online, you get an access code and all further communication is done through whatsapp and a private company. This worked fine in our case and the online staff was super reactive, but I can imagine this is not ideal for older travellers, people without smartphones (these do exist) and it also means there is less social control at night as opposed to a reception with actual people. The room was rather noisy at times, not from outside noise but from people talking/entering/shouting in nearby rooms. So you will have to be lucky who occupies the other rooms, cause no reception, means nobody to calm down a possible situation.

A great little hotel located in the centre of Barcelona with access to Bars, Restaurants and Metro right on the doorstep, well placed to explore areas of the city off the beaten track. Lots of options for breakfast within a few minutes walk. Tea, coffee, cold drinks are all available 24hrs from reception. Hotel has a lovely quiet court yard garden to enjoy as well. Staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are stylish and well kept. Cleaned every day and fresh towels etc whenever you need. Our room overlooked the courtyard garden, very quiet and minimal street noise. We stayed for a week and would definitely recommend the hotel as a base for exploring Barcelona. Use the Metro to get around, Areobus is easy to get to and from Airport. If you want to walk you can, about 30mins to La Rambler market and Gothic Quarter, 45min to the Marina, loads to do and see also within mins of the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Nothing not to like.

The check-in process was seamless. Our room was small but adequate for our needs. The balcony was very nice looking out over the street. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was well equipped with a coffeemaker, hot pot and small refrigerator. The hotel stocked the refrigerator with juice and a beer and supplied coffee and tea and bottled water. It was in a great area just up the street from a very fashionable area and very convenient to everything we wanted to see.

I tried calling the hotel at least once a week for a month to see if I could get one more room for our son who decided to join us in Barcelona. All I got was a recording asking me to leave a message which I did each time. No one ever tried to contact me even to say that no room was available. Surprisingly enough a room became available the day we checked in. My son tried one last time and was successful but for a very high room rate, much higher than we paid for an identical room. I would have liked better customer service before check-in.

location - very near to all places of interest and with good a good cafe, supermarket and bakery just downstairs. Quiet - it’s very quiet both day and night. except when the cleaners come. toiletries - the lotion, shampoo and conditioner works and smell so well, plus they’re sustainable. also I like the towel, thick white and big. customer service was quite helpful at times

hot shower - it’s not very consistent. Wi-Fi- some morning it was not available but came back after sometime (1-2 hours) after we feedback

The room was a great size with a small balcony out to the view of the garden. It was very modern and the bathroom was the same. The location was also great - close to the metro and buses as well as a supermarket. The staff were also amazing, and super helpful plus, we were offered free coffee in the mornings between 0700-1100. Special mention to Cristina at the reception desk who gave us some recommendations for food and was in touch through booking.com chat to make sure we had an airport transfer. Thank you!

The room had a very STRONG air freshener. It was very overpowering. There was also construction every morning and we could hear the room next to us very clearly. So soundproofing is not so good in the room.

Automated check in and check out felt smooth. The location is very convenient and the room was comfortable for me. I liked the coffee machine and surprise free goodies as well.

The only thing to complain about is that there’s no housekeeping unless you pay for it. This should be clearly highlighted before booking. Also they provided me with only two towels for a three night stay and there was no washing machine I could use.

The property was exceptionally clean and modern. The staff were all friendly and polite and the customer service excellent. We had a garden room and the room was lovely and more spacious than expected. Excellent location too - we went to several restaurants in the area that were all superb and it’s close to the metro/train station too.

It can get quite noisy! I was woken up a couple of times by other guests coming back etc. but I am a very light sleeper. it’s also above the metro and you can hear that several times a day but we were hardly in the room for it to bother us that much and it didn’t affect us sleeping.

Fantastic location perfectly situated in Gracia which is the best part of town if you want to live like a local and not be swarmed by tourist. The staff were lovely. Very helpful. The inner garden was a lovely peaceful sanctuary. Nicely designed interiors. The room was perfect for us as a couple with a lovely bathroom and a Juliet balcony looking over the inner courtyard.

The property was lovely and our room was great. However the aircon didn’t work. We didn’t mind as we travelled in early April so the weather wasn’t that warm, we just left the balcony door open a little. We didn’t mention anything to the hotel therefore. However I can imagine that in summer you would definitely need the aircon.

A heartly welcome was prepeared in the room for our honeymoon. The welcome was enough to impress us and acknowledge that they cared about our honeymoon. They helped us to check in much earlier as we arrived in the morning which was a big help for our trip. The room was small but well-aircobditioned and clean. The location of the hotel was great as it took 10-15 min walk to visit 2 of Gaudi's works. Bus and metro were also easily approachable from the hotel to reach Sagrada Familia, Park Guell and Monjuic mountain.

Perfect location, in the centre of Gracia! Next to the main square and gran Gracia. Really good services, both check in and check out with the possibility to store our luggage until 8pm. Clean and really comfortable room, it was small but efficient and with all services. There is the machine to get espresso, but also the possibility to have breakfast if you book the day before. Super suggested!
