Hotel Paseo De Gracia

I honestly can't understand why this is a 1 star hotel as it's far nicer than many 3 star hotels I've stayed in! The room and bathroom were modern and clean, the bed was comfy, and despite being on a main street, my room was very quiet. The hotel is right beside the Diagonal metro station, a minute's walk to Gaudi's amazing 'La Pedrera', and 10 minutes walk to the airport train. I felt very safe and secure as a solo traveller and would definitely stay again.

Everything ! Excelent staff ,clean room, very comfortable bed and the view from our 6th floor to the Paseig de Gracia below. Fantasic location just next to Pedrera and opposite the Metro. Express breakfast a good value too!

We enjoyed our stay here. Amazing location next to the metro station & plenty of restaurants (both fancy and very affordable). The staff is nice and helpful, cleaning is daily and perfect. The room has anything you need for a comfortable staying: a spacious wardrobe, fridge, kettle, nice bathroom with a bath. The bed is comfortable, although there are two separate beds instead of one. We also had a nice and quiet balcony. During 10 days of our stay, we did not hear any noise. Totally recommend.

Particularly in our room, Wi-fi worked poorly. However, when the staff heard about the problems, they suggested us to move to another room (we did not since we liked our room & having a balcony). The bathroom is quite cold, but it is a minor problem which is quickly fixed by taking a hot shower :)

I loved the hotel's location, a very pleasant stroll in the morning sunshine along the Passeig de Gracia. I loved the hotel's elegant facade. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the room was available on arrival and also that I had been upgraded from a single room to a double. My room was perfect, stylish, spotless and very comfortable. It was not overlooked and offered a generous view of neighbouring streets and even a mountain beyond. I found the staff helpful and friendly and very much enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

You can’t beat this location. It is literally right in front of the subway entrance. The station “Diagonal” hosts the 2 lines (L3 and L5) that goes directly to Park Guell and Sagrada Familia. It is also 1min walk from Casa Mila, and a short 5 min walk from Casa Bastllo. The room was very clean. Great value if you’re traveling solo

There was one night where it smelled just rancit…like the drain smell was so strong it woke me up in the middle of the night and I had to opened the balcony door a bit.

incredible value for money. might not be the best location for everyone, but it worked perfect for our plans. clean looking rooms with everything you need for your stay

the desk is NOT 24/7 - in certain hours you have to go to a hotel next door to handle any issue. it's not a big deal but it would be nice if this was clearly stated in the initial/welcome mail, especially since I told them we would be arriving when the "normal" front desk is not attended..

The hotel is located in the heart of the city. Subway is just 2 min walk away. Many shopping and restaurants around. The hotel view is great.

We did not eat breakfast at the hotel as we found it pricy also you can get a good breakfast/brunch with less amount in other places. The room was a bit small for two people and the cushions on bed did not smell good. I also expected to have an iron in the room as the Barcelona weather is humid and after opening your luggage you definitely need an iron. .

The most important thing for me is always the attitude of the staff - they were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Secondly, the safety. I didn’t feel unsafe at any point in time and the place was pretty quiet. I had the express breakfast and I was satisfied with it. They safely kept my bags for me after check out.

Maybe the free water can be upgraded to a 1L considering that it’s summer.

Bed is comfy and they do housekeeping daily. During the new year eve, they prepared a surprise for us, which is cava to celebrate. The location is near to the metro just a 2-minute walk.
