The property was very close to the beautiful Gaudi houses, fine shopping, and wonderful restaurants. Everything is walkable from this hotel. The employees were knowledgeable of the area and extremely helpful and pleasant. A lovely lady, whose name unfortunately escapes me, gave us an upgraded room with a lovely and very comfortable patio. It had a backyard view of the Mila house as well as the lovely hotel garden view. Jose gave us good information about how to get to Montserrat. Sadly, we only had one day so weren’t able to enjoy any of the gardens nor the rooftop deck. I would definitely come back because of the fine employees.

Central location. Everywhere was close. Breakfast was very tasty and with a lot of healthy options. Also great coffee! Personnel was super friendly and helpful. Room clean and with comfy bed. We would definitely come back to this hotel.

On one day we couldn’t use a swimming pool because there was some sort of a closed party in the garden, but there was second swimming pool on the rooftop. Also time of the dinner was a little bit odd (from 20.00) but I guess this is something common in Spain. Other than that everything was perfect.

The location of this hotel was amazing - just steps from Mixto, a lovely coffee shop, and then literally several restaurants and pastry shops within a very short walking distance. Entrapanez Diaz is right down the street - they served some of the best tapas we had during our entire Barcelona. The shower was wonderful along with the toiletries they provided. I've also never slept so well in a hotel - the room got so ice cold and the sheets and blankets were heavenly. I wished we could have stayed longer. We really loved the small hotel feel. We never ate the breakfast at the hotel - far too many choices to adventure out and find.

The hotel is dirty in some areas, like the entryway and elevators. It could also use some paint and maybe replacement of carpet (or cleaning) in high traffic areas. Our shower had a substantial amount of mildew, but other than that the room was clean and we loved the amenities provided. My expectations for cleanliness at a hotel are pretty high, though.

Absolutely everything went perfectly. The staff was amazing and so helpful from every aspect. We were met with a gracious and pleasant bellman and concierge to check us in. At the same time we were given champagne which helped relax us after such a long trip. We called from the US before we left to verify our accomodations and learned everything was in order and they were ready for us. We stayed in the Suite Candol for 4 nights which was awesome. Our room was very large with fabulous decor, king size comfortable bed with lovely linens, a huge bathroom with shower and tub, 2 sinks and lots of fabulous towels! There was a very large closet space with shelves and a safe. Coffe and water were provided as well. We chose a street view and even though it was busy at times the room was completely sound proof. We were very grateful for the patient and knowledgeable help we received from the concierge and bellman. They helped us with directions for all of the places we wanted to see and since we were leaving on a cruise from Barcelona we had to have a negative test for covid 72 hours before boarding the ship. The concierge patiently and expertly booked us at the local clinic so we could receive our covid test and results in time. The staff constantly went above and beyond expectations. The breakfast was outstanding with flawless service. There was the buffet with delicious options as well as made to order eggs, waffles with icecream, etc. We included the breakfast with our room and were so glad we did! There is no better breakfast any where! Also, within a short walking distance there were many restaurants, bakeries, lovely shops. One of Europe's best bakeries was just across the street! We toured all of the major highlights in Barcelona during our stay and we were able to be picked up directly at the hotel.

Everything was perfect.

perfect location, with metro line 3 real close walkable to city center very clean and you get high quality cleaning service everyday 24 hours reception, so we could check in at 12:00am without any problem

room a bit small, a little bit uncomfortable to stay for 4 days in a row and the terrace was actually looking toward the shared area with the surrounding buildings, not really what we expected

Fantastic location, choice of two pools to cool down after sight seeing, wonderful staff who were always happy, welcoming and helpful, comfortable room with a lovely terrace for the sunset.

The roof top bar was closed on a Monday & Tuesday. Breakfast cost was very expensive in comparison to amazing local places in the same street.

The rooms themselves and the hotel being able to accommodate our request for attached rooms was amazing! The rooms & bathrooms were clean, comfortable and very aesthetic. The hotel common areas were clean, peaceful and welcoming. We loved hanging out in the main patio area and the rooftop (the views!).

We tried to use the rooftop pool one late afternoon, but it was not very clean.

Very spacious rooms. Stayed 10 nights, had to change the rooms - highly suggest the 6th floor terrace room!!!! Just outstanding view and a really comfortable and spacious terrace! the 1st floor terrace rooms are very noisy because of bad sound isolation - you hear everything what happens in the lobby and restaurant. also room with no terrace is just great! What an incredible pearl in the nice L’eixample district of Barca with great bars and restaurants all around the block. We will definately come back!

Nothing to not like there.

The hotel staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. They all spoke fluent English and were very accomodating. The room was so beautiful and had a lovely view of the courtyard. The breakfast was 10/10 and the fact it went on until 11AM meant that it was never overly busy as everyone was able to go at their own time. The price of the room for 3 nights was very well prived and because we booked through booking.com we got a slight discount and also provided a driver from the airport to the hotel. The location is in a very very nice and safe area of Barcelona and being so close to the metro meant we could get anywhere we wanted very quickly. Can't wait to go back for another stay and can't recommend this hotel enough!

While the rooms are exceptionally lovely, clean and spacious, our room was located next to the elevator so we could hear people getting off the elevator during the night (but that was primarily because they were a bit tipsy from the sounds of it and didn't have volume control).
