the breakfast was like it was somebody s birthday everyday, so many choices both with main dishes or salads as with sweet home made treats. loved it, great surprise. the terrace is so close to the sea you could smell the salt, the seagulls are all around, the ships are all over the bay, it's beautiful. and on a stormy day, the colours of the see are amazing, while you just have breakfast and enjoy the show of the beginning of the day. And of the world! The staff is so helpful, so empathic, so friendly and they speak English!

The only thing was that i expected Turkish coffee to be available but it wasn't. I really like Turkish coffee, I try to make it home when I have the time.

I had a very pleasant stay at Asmali Hotel. The room was good and very clean. The breakfast was diversified. The terrace offered a beautiful view of Sea of Marmara. The location of the hotel is very good, very near the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, And last but not least, the staff was very kind and helpful, and I should mention specially Hikmet and Cafer.

We had a really nice stay here. Perfect location, right behind the Sultan Ahmed mosque. The room was clean, toiletries and a hair dryer were provided. Nice selection in the breakfast buffet, every day a new item, and the kitchen lady war very nice and helpful. Upon departure the reception guy called us a taxi and helped with our bags. Would stay here again

only thing missing was the elevator, which might be a problem for older people. our room was on the second floor, so not much of a problem

Great location, clean and comfortable rooms, very welcoming and accommodating staff! Well stocked room/mini fridge, decent bed (always subjective), good breakfast (again subjective), fabulous rooftop terrace overlooking the city and harbor. Wonderful (much needed) jet tub- as advertised. Neat vintage building with character and warmth which, along with the staff, made for a welcoming, "at home feel" stay and experience. Great location with shops, restaurants, mini markets right there without feeling "touristy". Convenient to public transportation and taxi stand right down the street if needed. Is about a 20 minute leisurely walk to the "heart" of the bazaar street shops. Unfortunately, my stay in Istanbul was short and rushed, but, should I find myself there again, would not hesitate to stay at Asmali again. The stairs could be a bit trying for some, as there is no lift, but staff assisted no problem. It's the character and nature of the building, so please don't let this deter you. My personal balcony wasn't anything special (needed only for the convenience of a smoke anyway), as the rooftop terrace was easily accessible at any time and perfect for an amazing view and feel for Istanbul.

Asmali hotel is in a fantastic location. It was very close to the Blue Mosque in a nice neighborhood. We walked a ton of places and took trollies and public transport easily for locations further away. The family room accommodated 4 people very well and the hotel was super helpful with anything we needed (including parking, laundry, and recommendations). The area was quiet at night.

Small room, but with air-conditioner. Very good place for do sightseeing of old part of Istambul. Very nice and helpful staff. A taxi-driver crushed my own car and they tried to help me, but a problem was with Turkye police. Please don't come to Turkye by your car, and be carefull becouse police don't help you.

Rooms could be grater.

I've been already staying for the 3rd time at this hotel, this time with my mom and sister. We all are absolutely content. It's superb. The location is perfect. The guys at the reception are always super helpful and friendly. The room is warm and comfy. The breakfast is various and delicious (especially pastry). So, when I'm in Istanbul once again, only Asmali!

The hotel is based at reality nice area, all staff is amazing, really helpful, nice room, good breakfast and amazing view from the roof. During our holiday the staff help us and they was really polite. Definitely this is my favorite hotel in Istanbul and will back again. Thank you you are the best! I’m really appreciate to you!
