The hotel and staff were really amazing. The location is perfect since it is right next to all the important sights in town. The included breakfast was tasty and varied and the rooms comfortable. I would like to highlight the staff as they really did everything they could to make our trip a great one. They gave us breakfast even after we came 2 hours later and made us sandwiches when we were leaving super early in the morning so we could eat something before the flight. They also gave us a perfect itinerary for a short weekend trip and helped us tremendously to see everything we wanted to see. All in all, would highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back when I'm again in Istanbul.

The hotel is located in the very historic center of the city, 5-7 min walk to the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores to choose from nearby. The area feels safe even late at night. Breakfast is included and decent. The staff was very friendly and responsive, extra thanks Rulf for the hospitality during both check-in and check-out and throughout the stay.

Bedding, towels and the room itself were weathered and not as clean as one might want, we've got a replacement after asking the stuff though and it got better. Not necessary about the hotel but consider that Fatih area can be very noisy even at night.

Over all it was OK, the room was abit smaller than what expected and the insent smell in the room was abit over wellming

From the moment I arrived at the Acacia Mansion Hotel to the moment I departed, I felt very welcomed and safe. The rooms were charming, inviting, and comfortable and jet lag wasn't an issue after the first good night sleep in their very  comfortable bed. Water pressure was also good and enjoyed hot showers. Rauf, who manages the front reception was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the best places to visit in Turkey (and interesting facts in general) including interesting historical sites that they don't advertise in the tourist books. Acacia Mansion is very lucky (and smart!) to have Rauf be the face of their hotel. I believe he speaks 5 or 6 languages with excellent English. I seeked him out for advice throughout my trip and he was always so welcoming. Argesh is the very friendly evening reception and was also very kind and accommodating when I asked for assistance. I am mostly a morning person so mainly interacted with Rauf. Seher, their head of housekeeping, takes her job very seriously and not sure you will find a cleaner hotel in all of Turkey!  She left my room impeccibely clean and was always so sweet and helpful when I asked for extra toiletries. The Turkish breakfast is served from 8:00 am until 10:30 every morning with a good selection of turkish breakfast dishes. I especially loved their selection of olives, fruit,  cheeses, and baguettes. The very friendly and adorable Saroof was another gem in this charming boutique hotel and he looked over the breakfast buffet and guests, who has a very good command of the English language. He even made me a dellightful cup of turkish coffee when I inquired where I could get one, which I very much appreciated!  His smile lights up a room and has excellent customer service skills. I departed feeling refreshed and well taken care of. The location is great and a short distance from many of the historic sites. I even made friends with an adorable tortie neighborhood cat before I left!

Its hard to think of anything I didn't like! It would have been nice to have some different breakfast dishes as I noticed a lot of the same dishes each morning. However I left feeling satisfied each morning and there are many other restaurants nearby to visit if you want a variety or something different.

We are very satisfied with our stay. First, location is great. Some people wrote here that there is a noise from the street, but I got the room facing to the backyard, and it was very quiet. My friends who stayed with windows to the street also said that with the windows closed there is no noise from the street. The soundproofing is great and there was no noise from the corridor as well. In addition to the room - it was perfectly clean and they made daily cleaning. The rooms are equipped with a cattle plus coffee and tee, fen and a small fridge (minibar goes for the additional price, but there is a small shop right next to the reception). Breakfast was delicious every day. Hot and cold buffet with wide verity of cheeses, vegetables, ham. Nice coffee and local sweets as well. They also run a restaurant for lunch and dinner there with good tasty food. Last but not least is the great and helpful staff. Receptionist Raug with a very professional attitude helped us with all our requests. We really appreciate it and would go with 11/10 points for staff :). His colleague at the breakfast was also very nice and smiling.

Everything was great and we would love to stay in this hotel once again.

Location is exceptional, right in the Old City of Istanbul, everything is so close. Mohammed was very kind and always ready to help, highly appreciated. Breakfast was above average. Lots of different fruit, salads and vegetable. Very tasty tea. Taxi to the airport booked via Mohammed provided better price than Uber and better car. Very nice and calm atmosphere at the hotel even though it's in the centre of the city. Appreciate the Turkish music and tourist videos on TV during breakfast which created relaxing atmosphere. AC and WiFi worked fine, bathroom was big enough for two. The building is rather small inside, but it was not a problem. Loads of coffees, restaurants and shisha bars all around the hotel.

Some of the towels were not completely clean with a few stains and piece of hair. The bathroom smelled after a cigarette for the first day. There were fries and onion circles too often served for breakfast. Loud footsteps from the room above. Our room had to be changed to another than we ordered, but it was fine except of the view which wasn't the best.

The guys from reception Rauf and Argesh were nice and helpful all the time by guiding us regarding city highlights. Location of the hotel was very good you could walk 5 min to Hagia Sophia and to closest Tram station and many other restaurants, shops, Bazaar and even a nice Park.

Inside the room was very very warm and there was nothing you can do about it. There was no king size bed just 2 beds together with a king size lingerie. You could hear everything from the rooms next to you. Towels were always stained and the water pressure in the shower was low.

The hotel is very well located in the historical center (Fatih) of Istanbul, Many main sight seeing point can be reached easily by foot. The rooms are comfy and nicely decorated. The staff is super nice and helpful, thanks to Yusuf for the nice welcoming and special thanks to Shukur who gave us very good tips and tricks for our stay.

The walls of the building are quite thin so it can be a bit loud in the morning because of the traffic and honking.

Excellent location - near the very heart of the city, while away from the bustle. The breakfast was really good, and the staff very helpful (if they could understand what you want). Lots of restaurants and small shops nearby. Aircon can be left on while out of the room - really great in summer heat.

The room really needed some facelifting. There were papers in the trash bin when we checked in. The extra services are overpriced: airport taxi is much cheaper if booked at booking.com, and the sim card is twice cheaper in the city.

Calling this place a hotel is an exaggeration. Rather a small high standard motel. On the plus side: the location, clean, daily cleaned rooms, 24-hour reception, good breakfast - you can order something hot.

Photos of rooms differ from reality, but photo retouching is probably a standard practice in Istanbul accommodation. The area seems calm and quiet, but from the morning the locals take a shortcut through the streets near the hotel and you can hear it in the rooms. The rooms are also poorly soundproofed and you can hear your neighbors.
