Location is great just few hundreds meters away of lots of shops restaurants and sites. Opposite the important interchange station of Serkizi /Marmaray Few meters away of Serkizi tramway. Polite and helpful staff. Spacious room.

Toilet urgenly need renovation and its ceiling needs to be painted. Poor amenities. Poor soundproof walls between room toilet and next room toilet. AC is not working properly. Breakfast is below average and served in MADO restaurant just near by but has nothing to do with MADO breakfast standards. Window room view is blocked by a building facing the hotel with inadequate sun lights.

The hotel's locarion is really strategic if you want to visit the most important places in İstanbul. Is right beside the Sirkeci tram stop and the Sirkeci Marmaray metro station. Moreover, Sultanahmet square (the most important location in İstanbul to see historical places such as Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern, the Hippodrome, etc.) is just a few blocks walking.

Refering to the hotel, I think everything was excelent. Something that must be considered when travelling is that the recently built İstanbul airport is about an hour or more from the hotel, because it was built far from the heart of the city. Hence, I recommend to take the hotel's transfer service. Another thing that was curious for me and my parents, is that the hotel's reception was in an alley between two restaurants (you even enter a few rooms and the place where you take your breakfast from one of these restaurants: Mado hehe), so be aware of this and don't be afraid if you don't see the hotel's reception right away hehe.

The room where we were accommodated was good, not very noisy, clean, with good facilities, the breakfast was good. The personal was friendly. Location is very good, close to the Marmaray station and to the tram station. The interior decorations are reminiscent of stories from 1001 nights, probably much appreciated by the many families with many children I met there. The hotel is good, it was my fault to choosing it.

My fault was that I believed too much in the BOOKING presentation: "a room with see view" at one of the upper floors. The room where we were accommodated was good, more suitable for families with 2-3 children. The personal was friendly, but they do not agree to change my room as requested. It is clear that each hotel have more rooms for each price option, but it is not the first time when BOOKING clients receive the poorest room for the chosen price option. My room was in the third floor, with view on the Sirkeci square, in the front of the tram station, without see view. The hotel is good, it was my fault to choosing it. Istanbul offers hundreds of hotels and I should have searched harder to find a hotel better suited to my expectations.

This hotel is an extraordinary place for normal travellers, who doesn't search for spa, swimming pool etc. If you want to explore the city, to have an usual, but clean service, this place is great to stay. Location is perfect. The tram which takes you to the most significent tourist spots is in front of the hotel, as well as undersea metro, which takes you to Asian side. Eminonu square (for boat tours) is 8min walk from the hotel, as well as Hagia Sophia etc. We were for 6 nights, and we would come next time in the same hotel again. Breakfast was good, you can always pick something different. People were very kind both in hotel and restaurant. I was very happy with cleaning staff. They cleaned room everyday and changed the towels. I didn't have that experience in other hotels when I was in Istanbul before. We were in January, the room was warm. You can set the temperature as you want. Beds were also comfortable. We booked triple bedroom.So everything was pretty normal and nice. I definitly recommend this place...

Booked here twice. Hotel has side entrance to building which is not directly facing the main busy road which I think is safer. Great location with local tram right at side of hotel and near ferry terminal which has access to various places including Bursa. Near train station and taxi stands, shops, bazaar and restaurants. Hotel has small lift (6 pax). Room was clean and spacious with all fittings working well and adequate plug points. Reception staff were all smiles and helpful. They allowed us to leave our bags even when we went outstation and have checked out. Would sure stay here again if I were in Istanbul. Price was reasonable compared to other hotels at this location.

Excellent location - right across from Sirkeci and tram line right outside the door. Unlikely to be in a better situation for a short city stay - right in the middle of everything you want to see and do. Breakfast was great each morning as well. Family room had basic necessities and was comfortable for wife and kids. We’d stay here again for sure.

Location is the best in Istanbul !! Everything, Everyone in the hotel were amazing. Very helpful and respectful Staff , especially Muhammad , Bashar and Masum , they helped us alot during our stay. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The breakfast were served at Mado Restaurant and it was delicious with plenty foods and beverages. The hotel is exactly opposite to Sirkeci tram stop and Sirkeci Marmaray Station which give you access to almost all the city. There are many famous restaurants and sweets nearby hotel. The hotel is also less than 10 min walking to Eminonu Ferryboat Station ( you can go to Bursa , Uskudar , Princess Islands , Besiktas , Bosphorus Tour .. etc by using boats with reasonable cheap price). The hotel is also less than 15min walking away from Spice Bazar ( Egyptian Bazar ), Sultanahmet and Hagia Sophia , Yerebettan ( Basilica Cistern ) …. Really Its more than a 3 Star Hotel, very safe area and great for Family stays also.

The people in the room next to our room was talking very loudly and screaming a lot, the walls are bad so you can hear everything, we could not sleep because of that. The staff helped us with it. TV was not working but they fixed it when we told them. The couches was not comfortable to sleep on but the bed was okay.

My stay at the Empire Suite Hotel in Istanbul was nothing short of incredible! The service was top-notch, and I was genuinely impressed by the outstanding level of hospitality. A special shout-out to Mohammed Ramadan who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The attention to detail and genuine friendliness of the staff elevated my stay to a whole new level. If you want a fantastic time in Istanbul, this hotel is the place to be!
