Hilton Istanbul Bakirkoy

Our stay in Hilton was very good.Staff was very helpful.

There was a bad smell in the toilet shower area hole,We asked them to clean it and the cleaners came promptly but the smell wasn't going due to blockage inside the hole.It needs to be cleaned throughly so they can maintain their hygiene standards.

The rooms were clean and large enough. It has a perfect view of sea. Although the location is a bit far from the main attractions in Istanbul but it is located in the quiet place. There are several shopping malls near to the hotel. There is also one train station near to hotel where we used for going to Istanbul attractions.

Nothing specific.

Good location away from the really busy tourist areas. Well connected by public transport. 20 minutes by taxis to Faith (non rush hour). Malls nearby as well. Good indoor pool. Punctual cleaning of rooms to a good standard. Able to cater for larger families with 2 bed apartments with a fantastic view. Executive lounge was really convenient

No 5 star onsite restaurant. Yes there was a restaurant but not with the choice I would have expected from a Hilton. The outdoor swimming pool has no real service for drinks etc. Other things such as jacuzzi not operating. Very limited gluten free options for on site meals.

Room was very clean great views from 14th floor of the sea we had two rooms the other had city view which was also very good Breakfast was ok good selection but simple things like hot English breakfast tea was difficult tea kept coming back Luke warm anyway we managed to sort that by bringing our own tea bags the egg station was busy so times to time wrong orders and Luke warm omelettes so its better waiting for your order - Always get your taxis from the hotel the yellow ones the guys at the front will order them - enjoyed walking round the neighbourhood as well barbers and ladies salons plentiful short distance walk

Staff good specially cafe, restaurant and front boys and manager.

The Location, The Seaview Room, The Cleanliness and how willing the bell service was in getting us taxi to all our locations. The staffs were great and thoughtful with every request we had. House keepers were always friendly and the rooms were spacious

The breakfast was not diverse and the Wifi connection was very poor. Vacuuming of the room floor would be good. The staff had less good English proficiency than one would expect from a luxury hotel. There was nothing to do... A little entertainment would have made the stay more pleasant. There were only 3 English channels to watch on TV. The indoor pool was close during out stay which was in Aug and the outdoor was pretty cold

Hilton Bakirkoy, as a Hilton, it is always good. I must mention the people who work there which are very hospitality and kind, The fitness center is one of the best I seen. The rooms are extra comfortable and the sea view is just perfect.

Breakfast is avarage - The milk inside the Coffee machine isn't fresh, its preserved, which gives the Coffee this non tasty twist, and it's just not good. Hilton ? Keep fresh milk, This is turkey guys. Also, no any smoked fish or any fish whatsoever for breakfast, it was missing. Lobby should keep cold water / lemon water /cold tea and some biscuits for the guests who just Checked in or checked out ir even just because they are 5 star hotel and not 4.

Excellent service from all staff throughout the hotel. Cenk at reception went over and above to make our stay special as it was our wedding anniversary. We received champagne and cake in our room on arrival. View of the Marmara Sea was stunning as we were on the 12th floor (sea-facing). Room and bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was amazing and a large selection of dishes.

The coffee station in the room was basic and not restocked daily (had to request items as required). Paper cups provided at the coffee station and no water glasses as well. This is not in line with other 5 star rated hotels. The toiletries in the bathroom were great but also not restocked daily. I have to say that service was very quick each time I requested items from house-keeping. The coffee shop in the lobby area is a Starbucks and is pricing is way above the Starbucks located outside the hotel.

There was nothing to do... A little entertainment would have made the stay more pleasant. There were no English channels to watch something on TV. Spa/ Hotel tub was out of service, and then 2 days of being there, the swimming pool had to be closed. Lack of food choices in the Executive Lounge. But the worst thing for me was, one of the staff members recommending a restaurant only to find out that he works with the restaurants to overcharge British tourists at the restaurant. We found that very disgraceful. We were hounded at the restaurant - everyone wanted money for something. We were charged double because we were not natives.
