Clean rooms. Well equipped with good design

The window was directed on the wall though I asked the receptionist to give us a different one. Absence of natural daylight is very unpleasant. We needed to go to the bus station and personnel did not manage to get us a taxi. As a result we needed to find a taxi ourselves and overpaid three times as the local drivers refused to use a taximeter and we already had no time to bargain with them and heavy luggage to use the metro.

This was the second time I stayed at Ruz and it's definitely one of the nicest hotels we've stayed! From the super nice design, cleanliness and comfort (beds were amazing) to a very nice location, cool rooftop bar with really nice drinks and a nice restaurant. The staff was the cherry on top! Everyone at the hotel is super sweet and helpful. This time I returned to Istanbul to pick up my wedding dress and the manager Emrah remembered me from my last stay and gave us a super nice room upgrade along with some bubbles. We could not recommend the Ruz more! Thank you for having us, we'll def be back!!

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The hotel is in a good location (though a very touristy place, but there are public transport options within walking distance). The room was very spacious and clean. I would like to put Halil in the limelight. He served us breakfast every morning. He was very nice and service-oriented. Truly a man of gold. Thank you Halil!

On Fridays and Saturdays there is indeed noise coming from the bars. But nothing that can't be fixed with some earplugs. If this bothers you, ask for a quiet room in advance. We slept at the back of the hotel, which made a difference.

My friend and I had a great stay at RUZ hotels! Its location is just awesome, just a couple minutes away from the Galata Tower. Shopping possibilities are incredible, you'll find local designer, artists and many more in this area. The hotel is very clean and the interior is as pictured in the photos. We truly loved it and special thanks goes to the INCREDIBLE staff team from the hotel. Yusuf, Orhan and Deniz were very friendly, helpful and always here for a nice chat. And thanks again Orhan and Deniz for helping me out with my issues when it came to public transportation ;) çok teşekkür ederim! This hotel is highly recommended and we'll definitely come back to Istanbuld and RUZ hotel!

Our room was pretty small, but that's the only thing - it's "critizing" on a high level, everyting else was just superb.

Perfect location for my puroses as a tourist. Next to Istikhal, Tünel rail and Metro. Loads of restaurants in the area. Very friendly personal and helpful staff. Could not be better! Restaurant on top floor with amazing viewer of Istanbul.

But same wall painting with a panda looking into my room!! Hotel difficult to find. Even for taxis! Tell taxi "next to Tünel in Istikhal" and ask your way for the rest! Not among the cheapest hotels in Istanbul. But still reasonable balance price/quality, so I Will stay again when next in Istanbul!

We booked Ruz Hotel many months before we were due to travel. Their pictures and location really appealed to us, as well as the price. Being a new hotel, there were no reviews at that point; therefore, watching the positive reviews stack up was extremely reassuring. Even before we had paid a penny, Ruz's customer service was forthcoming with any questions we had. They even sent us a video of the suite upon our request since we weren't too sure about the layout from the pictures. We were also able to show this video to our autistic son, so he knew exactly what to expect, reducing his anxiety when staying in a new place. Before we travelled out, our airline cancelled our flights. We were forced to reschedule to travel out a day sooner than expected. We contacted Ruz, who matched the same night rate of the original booking. Their service was impeccable. Mind you, at this point, we had not paid a penny. Therefore Ruz was under no obligation to honour the original booked rate. Now to the actual stay. Ruz Hotels was like a second home. Our suite had a whole kitchenette with a washing machine, microwave, dishwasher and even a tumble dryer! We had air conditioning with fans in the kitchen and bedroom, had two TVs, and even had a radio. Housekeeping was faultless! The best highlight of our stay was that Ruz's staff were always ready to help and gracious. Huge respect for Yunus who helped us greatly, and had a very kind welcoming disposition towards our autistic son. It was always a pleasure to come back at the end of every day. If we ever return to Istanbul we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The location was perfect to visit old and new Istanbul; also good transport links, restaurants, cocktail bars within walking distance, so no need to travel far. The reception staff went to extra care to attend to us during our stay, from carrying our luggage, tourist advice, taxi bookings and local directions, which is very helpful when you don't speak Turkish. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious, with all facilities we needed (like a good hairdryer and an iron on request). Having the restaurant and bar was convenient for lunch, snacks and cocktails, with excellent Turkish wines, a chef's menu and an exceptional view of Istanbul over the sea. In particular, Ali and Tolga on reception were kind, helpful and fun to have as our hosts; and the restaurant and bar staff were lovely. Recommend and will definitely book this hotel again.

The standard of the cocktails could be made with a better balance and more selection of classics; as the cocktails are a little too ambitious on the menu. The wine makes up for this, however (and if you need cocktails there are plenty of options within a 1-3 minute walk, like Freds).

The hotel is located in the middle of the most vibrant part of the city, but hides in a small alley. Clean and tasteful, a room has everything you might need. Helpful, humble staff.  There is no better location than this. You are at the beginning of the Istiklal street -  main pedestrian "party" street. The Galata tower is within a 5 minute of walking. The metro entrance is accessible within a walk of one minute. I would recommend utilizing the metro, funicular, and tram as they are faster and more convenient than taxi in most cases. The rooftop terrace restaurant has a good selection of fine food and drinks. Breakfast is not a buffet, but is served with an ample plate of healthy snacks and egg dish by your choice. It was a special moment for us, with a nice view from a rooftop and a good service. We wanted to prolong it. My wife and I are frequent travellers, and we have been to Istanbul several times. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ruz Hotels. First the location is great, in a lively neighborhood next to Sishane metro station and the tunnel station (perfect to go up to come back to the hotel after a walk on the other side of the Bosphorus) The welcome from Ali, late in the evening was amazing. He was super professional and firendly. One of the best welcome we ever had. The room was clean and spacious enough to feel good. The roof top is amazing and great for a drink or a lunch/dinner. The staff in the evening, especially Murat, were so friendly and professional too. Thank you! Thanks also to Burak who is also very friendly. We will stay again at Ruz Hotels at our next trip in Istanbul, no doubt!

The location was A1, right in the heart of the interesting Pera district of the city centre a minute off the main drag. Plenty if great bars and restaurants nearby and 5 minutes to a metro station. The design of the room was very contemporary but with a nice personal twist in a lovely old building. The shower and bed were fantastic and even though there was little natural light the lighting in the room made up for this The staff were also great.

We didn’t have breakfast….at €20 it was well overpriced in my view
