Georges Hotel Galata

Very nice designed Hotel with friendly helpful staff. The room was clean, nice design, quiet location just 200m to the Galata tower. From the restaurant you have an amazing view over the city

It didn´t have a real wardrobe, room was very small, the view was to the other side of the street in a small street and a bit dark. Also the lighting was too dark

Beautiful property, room was extremely comfortable and exactly as pictured. Excellent location close to Galata Tower. Food in the restaurant was great. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Room was noisy (lots of kitchen noises seemed to be coming from the bathroom pipes and my neighbours were very loud) but I had earplugs which cancelled it out.

The location is amazing. Right off the Galata tower in a quiet street. this is a small boutique hotel, it has a beautiful terrace restaurant overlooking the entire bay. The rooms have a spacious terrace overlooking a garden. the metro stations are some six blocks away - but be aware you will have steep walks to either metro station, so be prepared to do some strenuous walking.

The rooftop restaurant is of wonderful French cuisine. I just wish they had a varied menu - we stayed for 9 nights, and we just had no variety to choose from since the menu never changes. But at least there are so many restaurants only a block or two away.

Lovely property in an excellent location. Wonderful staff, especially Yasin who helped with restaurant recommendations and was very supportive, though fair to say all the staff were lovely. Bed extremely comfortable, we had a quiet room with a balcony overlooking the garden which was very nice. Fixtures and furnishings very tasteful and a very powerful shower.

Not much TBH. The cloths hanging arrangement is a bit odd… a rail over the tea and coffee making table… and we made the error of thinking that the tea and coffee in the room were complimentary only to be handed a bill when we were leaving… we must have misunderstood, but I thought it a bit mean

The manager of the place was very nice to me, her name is Floy, and Yassin was very nice, friendly, helpful and very respectful. It's not my first time, but it certainly won't be my last ❤️

To be honest, as a Muslim, I couldn't eat in the place, so it was a bit bad for me, but what I learned is that the hotel is very French in feel, so halal food is not available and this was not the case. A problem for me because there are many restaurants on site, so staying at this hotel was much better than this very small problem.

Amazing hotel very clean and comfortable And elegant 🤍 the staff are very nice ,kind and welcoming we felt like a home to us lovely quiet hotel with perfect location and I would like to thank the hotel manager he was very helpful and kind and all the reception and restaurant staff as well you . We felt like home to us 🙏🏼 thank you so so much we will never change our hotel in Istanbul it will be our home 🤍it’s our favorite hotel 🤍amazing experience 🙏🏼

George’s is an oasis of calm in this extraordinary, bustling city. It is in a perfect location. It has stylish and comfortable interiors and high ceilinged bedrooms with balconies and terraces. The rooftop restaurant has a view over the Bosporous. Try their fabulous Turkish breakfast; you won’t need lunch. The staff are all extremely helpful and friendly. We left a mobile phone in our cab to the airport and Ahmed sorted out it’s return to the UK by courier without fuss. We will definitely be coming back.

Excellent location, near Galata, but inside the streets, so it was convenient for walk and not noisy. The restaurant upstairs has wonderful view, must see. The service and staff were very welcoming, helpful and really ready to help and focus on your experience😍

Room with 2 separate bedrooms, the only one in the hotel, was noisy due to the connection to the kitchen, there was some issue with sounds, nevertheless I believe it would be fixed soon. For us it was resolved with moving us to another room and didn’t affect our vacation. very appreciated🙏

The Georges is perfectly located in the Galata section. The Place & People (the Georges Team) make you feel at home. The view on the Bosporus and Topkapi Palace are breathtaking specially at sunrise whereas the sunset is best consumed from the Georges Rooftop. we enjoyed the Jazz night on Friday as well as all Fulya's suggested address. Alex (the owner) and Fulya (the GM) were great hosts we enjoyed the discussion and appreciated the time they gave us

The Mattress was a bit weird, maybe we re used to our own memory foam bed the amenities were generous however we got charged for some despite the hefty booking
