Cults Hotel

The room was super clean and exactly what we needed. The bathroom was spacious and the water pressure was excellent. The breakfast was quite good too! The bed was very comfortable and the staff were lovely and helpful. Parking is sparse, however accessible. The hotel is also quite close to some food chains like Subway and Dominos and at a walking distance to grocery shops & pharmacy too! If you are looking for a stop outside of main Aberdeen, this is the spot!

We decided to have dinner here, the food was a bit pricey for what it was. There is no direct lift / elevator - only the Wheelchair Access one which can sometimes be a bit noisy.

Arriving at the cults it has a welcoming look to the outside the receptionist was very polite and helpful with me being disabled I used the lift, that was quite the experience as I have never been in one quite like that one before, the room was lovely very spacious the bed was extra large the mattress was a little to firm for me, but that is my preference the room has a balcony which was very nice for morning tea, you could watch people work in their allotments or the sport courts. We were booked in for bed and breakfast there was plenty of choice of hot and cold meals plus plenty of tea and coffee, we also had a evening meal again plenty of choice and very nice, the waiting staff were very polite and nothing seemed to much if extra items were required. Over all a lovely place to stay and if i,m in Aberdeen again I would stay here again.

The only issue I had would be the bath mat this one was not in the best condition.

Room, overlooking the front, was well appointed and very comfortable. An enormous bed, with premium feel sheets enveloping a firm but comfortable mattress. Well lit, with controls from the bedside, and USB charging points too. Breakfast was just perfect. I opted for a kipper, with a cheeky slice of black pudding and an egg. Mmmm. Fresh juices, excellent coffee, and perfect toast selection. the chef clearly takes pride in delivering perfectly cooked dishes. Reception and restaurant staff were lovely to deal with.

TV, all too typically offers a range of freeview stations, but try as I could, the news channels were elusive. I know that not everybody would find that a problem.

I thought the hotel was very smart, very good interior design. The bar and restaurant didn't have an 'urgency' about them. Staff very approachable and cheerful. The soom was tidy and nicely lit. The bed was good. Ensuite was, like everywhere very clean.. I would reccomment it and I shall be back later.

The only reason that I have not given 10 out of 10 is being woken up at 7.45am by contractors, electricians I believe starting work in the corridor outside my room. I didn't anticipate starting my electrical apprenticeship in my bedroom. I appreciate that contrctors like to start early but exceptions ought to be made On that note I was disappointed. Still, a good stay overall.

It all worked. It was clean, stylish but not overly so and our room was comfortable and good value. The staff were great - smiley and friendly, hardworking and efficient. The food was really good. Dinner was the best meal we’d had for days and cooked breakfast was good too. Cold breakfast buffet less so - horrid sweet yoghurts! But overall, this hotel is excellent and good value. We’ll be back if ever in the area.

Our room had a pokey dark window. But we were only there for one night so it didn’t really matter.

My wife and her friends did an overnight up to the Cults Hotel and she asked me to get a review on for them. . The staff were exceptional Matthew in particular was amazing and went over and above helping us with our queries and helping us get transport to the arena as a manager myself in customer service he went over and above. The waitress as well last night (Monday 23rd) was lovely and attentive as well. The rooms with the balcony were brilliant, beautiful decor. The meals were lovely, everything was fresh. Comfortable beds, beautiful location. Worth every penny and we'll definitely be back for another trip.

Nothing no complaints

Very clean room. It overlooked gorgeous allotments and tennis courts at the back of the hotel and had a lovely view. The bed was very comfortable and the shower room was spacious. The shower itself had good pressure. It was very quiet so we had good quality sleep while we were there. The breakfasts were superb.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. We thought the decor was a little tired and dated but it certainly wouldn’t put us off staying there again.

All staff, were friendly, helpful and a pleasure. We arrived 2mins before the kitchen closed, reception advised the kitchen, gave us the menu whilst checking in, we dropped off our bags in the room, came back downstairs and dinner was served, excellent

Key on room door did not work well, lights in hallway did not always come on.

What did I like.....Pretty much everything.....Great hotel, the bedroom was huge, massive double bed which was extremely comfortable. Toilet was spotless with large shower. Fridge, tea / coffee facilities, lots of towels and adequate seating. Food was outstanding, evening meal was cooked to perfection. Small sports bar joined on to the main hotel was great, bar man was very polite and attentive and beer was lovely. Honestly one of the best I've stayed at.

There's nothing I didnt like, my only suggestion would be to add a vegetarian breakfast to the menu, but thats not deterring me from awarding this establishment full marks.

Staff was very accommodating. My daughter and I had a delayed flight, so we got in later after the kitchen had closed. We were very hungry and the cook accommodated us with some delicious soup brought up to the room by a very attentive staff member (Matt). He also lent me an adapter since our luggage was lost. All the staff members were helpful and kind.
