Andrea at reception was absolutely lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Warm welcome and very professional. The room (407) was a decent enough size although the windows were ceiling windows and gave no view. Room was comfortable and warm with an ensure bathroom with shower. Lots of great handwash, shampoo and conditioner as well as tea and coffee. Towel radiator was great and shower was good although it could be more powerful. Great black out blinds on ceiling windows and a quiet room allowing for a relaxed night's sleep. Decent breakfast in the morning and you can help yourself to cereals, teas, coffee etc and even take a coffee to go which is a bonus. Cooked breakfast was a choice of 5 items only but it was perfectly cooked. Great books in room for ideas for things to do and events in Aberdeen. This hotel may not look much-loved but, it's a wee gem and the staff work very hard considering there's not many of them. The wee added touches such as a pad of local maps, events leaflets and the Aberdeen guide books are genius. The location is brilliant. Easy, quick access to Union Square station. Parking... Union Square shopping centre is £18 for 24hrs. Would I stay again... YES

Only 2 pillows on bed, would be nice to have extra available. Towels were clean but had a stain on one of them.

I booked the room last minute, late at night (after leaving a terrible hotel nearby) and the staff were so accommodating. Really friendly and helpful - nothing was a bother. The room was a lovely size and bed was very comfortable. Excellent location, and very clean. I would definitely stay again, no question.

There wasn't a tv remote in my room and though the staff gave me a replacement, it didn't work. I'm sure if I went back to reception again they would have helped me, but I didn't want to bother them again. The room was warmer than I usually like - it would have been nice to have been able to open a window.

Very nice decor - loved the star lights in the lounge area, staff really friendly, 24 hour bar, outside seating area, inside lounge seating area, location - between my 2 go to bars on a night out. Will be staying here again!

That I missed breakfast so I didn't get to see what it was like but this was my own fault for having such a great but late night and thinking it was a good idea to mix wine and cider.

Great location! It is right in the centre, so it is very close to both ststions and near different nightclubs, so it is perfect for a night out.

The room was quite noisy, we could hear all the street noises and the music from the bars. The room had a window but it was very small and there was not light at all. The light in the toilet was not working properly as glitched.

The location was very central to my business engagements.

There was noise from the construction building opposite the property. I wasn't brought up to show the room which was hidden and the light towards the room passage wasn't bright enough and it was very late at night so I had to go down stairs to ask the receptionist then a porter was asked to show methe room. It should have been the right thing to do as I arrived at midnight and tired.

Staff and location Staff very friendly specially Charlie the waitress that served our breakfast. The hotel very quite appears we are the only guest but still we do enjoyed our stay. Definitely coming back and we'll recommendable.

The Rox impressed me from the moment I walked in. The hotel is fairly modern. Great location and the staff were very attentive and friendly. My room for the price point was outstanding.

The floor creaked in a couple of places both in my suite and the suite above, but it was not enough to impact my stay.

No in-house restaurant to order food from room otherwise it could have been so convenient. However we could order food from Deliveraoo

Fantastic staff! Super helpful and really nice. They couldn't do enough for us.

A few very minor things that were easily sorted with a request to reception, such as extra pillows and tea bags. Again, staff so very nice and helpful

Nice and central, room was big, pillows were comfy and it was quiet in the room we had at the back of the building. Breakfast was plentiful and nice.

There was a light in the breakfast area next to the lift which was constantly flicking on and off, but am sure they have that fixed now
