I liked the balcony room, lovely and cool with the window open. I liked the cleanliness and the big, fluffy towels. The bed was comfy. The staff were so vey helpful & friendly. The food was very good and the beer was grand. i loved the dog-friendly pub.

Didn't like: The bedside cabinet which was falling to bits. The pillows were awful, flat and offered no support. I couldn't reach the very small mirror on the wall whilst sitting to apply my make-up. A larger wall mirror would solve that problem. Perhaps a glass or 2 as there were only 2 coffee mugs on offer. I really missed not being able to have breakfast. It was the biggest problem for me.

Nice location and easy parking. Room was bright and clean, had a balcony which was well used while we were there! Really nice to sit out having a brew and watching the sunset/rise. Bed very comfy! They weren't serving food on the day we were there but gave us details of restaurants in walking distance which was helpful. Would love to stay again as it was very relaxing!

As you'd expect, the smoke from folks outside at the bar does come up to the room if you have the door open to the balcony or of you're sat outside, but really was not an issue for us at all and was not all the time.

I stayed in the Holiday Inn Express & Park Inn by Raddison in Aberdeen before checking in here . This place is so much friendlier, beds are more comfortable , the cleanliness and general place is just amazing by a country mile . The lady who became to be known as Susan just made me feel like I was at home .. she is such a loving , caring person that seems to do quite a lot around here .. I will definitely be back and would recommend anyone looking for a nice , friendly hotel to stay in when your in Aberdeen , this is the place

I did not eat breakfast- was it included? Simple set up with helpful reception staff. Good room and location. Overall, very happy but…some serious concerns.

No staff on site after midnight, which in my case was evident on night 1. Drunken occupants of an adjoining room sang until 4pm and then tried to come into my room via a flat roof and open window. Huge security risk and terrifying experience. My room on night 2-3 was far too hot. Rooms need air con. Also insufficient milk/tea.

The welcome by the staff was excellent, we have stayed here a few times now and are welcomed as valued returning guests, the restaurant food is excellent, especially the fish dishes. The staff, especially your GM were attentive and made sure that we were comfortable and happy at all times.

Can't really say anything here as the hotel was of a great standard and service was very good.

staff were very helpful. we ordered food at the bar, even though we were told at reception there was no room service bar staff kindly brought our food up to the room when it was ready.

limited car parking at the rear. The shower felt like it was barley running. Another party member booked direct at reception when we arrive to be given a much cheaper price for the same room.

Great location, easy walking distance into town. Reasonable prices and great bar. Large room with small balcony that smokers can sit out on. Great idea and much appreciated. Access to fans and extra towels etc.

In blurb it says large car park - with only 10 spaces I wouldn't call that large. And when spaces are that limited I wouldn't have a picnic table using up one space. However there is on the street parking to fall back on but it's a busy residential area so space there can be limited too.

Warm returning welcome from the staff, GM made special effort to welcome a returning regular guest, food is very consistently good, will always be #1 choice when staying in Aberdeen.

This is not a dislike but an FYI, 1st floor rooms can be a bit noisy from bar underneath at weekends, buy hey, don't be a prude, go join the party 😀

At check in, I was met by a very friendly and helpful woman (manager I assumed). Check in was very easy. Bar facilities were very good. I ate at the hotel all 4 nights, and the menu choice & quality of meals was excellent. Room very basic, but had everything I required and the bed was clean & comfortable. Overall experience 11/10, would definitely return and recommend.

Perfectly located as a nightly base for the long distance Deeside Way walk. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the pub/restaurant. Great to be able to eat in the seafood restaurant and watch the sports tv in the bar.

Room was rather hot. But the window opened really wide for great ventilation.
