The location was lovely, just a little further away from where we wanted to be on this occasion. That wouldn’t stop us from staying here again though. The two rooms we had were great, and the beds very comfortable, and the complimentary bottled drinks and biscuits were much appreciated. The Inn was really nice, inside and out, and the staff were lovely, particularly the Manager who allowed us to check in earlier than expected for which we were very grateful as we had had a long journey and it was very hot! Parking was good, as were the gardens and view.

There was nothing we didn’t like, but just to mention that the water flow from the washbasin taps in one of our rooms was annoyingly slow, and we could have done with an extra side lamp on the table. We also felt that the high cost of the breakfast was too much as none of our party would eat enough to justify the high price!

Great hotel in a great location. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable with a huge bed and a nice en suite. The food off the dinner menu was absolutely superb (I had the duck) and the selection of drinks in the bar was excellent.

My only disappointment was that when I checked in I was informed that breakfast was not served until 9am so i missed out on a traditional breakfast. However, this was just about made up for by a tray of continental selection delivered to my door early in the morning which included cereal, fruit, yoghurt, juices and milk.

A lovely pub with beautifully decorated rooms to stay in. Very friendly and helpful owner/staff who let us check in a bit early so we could drop our bags off before going to a nearby wedding reception & also helped us with taxi recommendations in advance of our visit so we had a seamless stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable (more so than mine at home)! The cook-to-order breakfast was amazing, just what we needed after being at a wedding the night before! A shame we didn’t stay two nights to experience a drink and meal in the sunny pub garden at the back of the pub.

Lovely bedrooms and pleasant inn. Easy to find as on the high street. Lots of parking. Good lunch at a reasonable price with a good range of beers and wines. Set in lovely countryside with plenty of footpaths Friendly staff.

Stayed for three days over the weekend. Had two good breakfasts but everything seemed to fall down on the Monday. The bar door was locked when we went down for breakfast and had to wait for a member of staff to arrive to open up. No chef had arrived by 9am and there was no alternatives set out for us. As we had along journey ahead, we left with no breakfast. We were the only residents I think that we had been forgotten.

We chose the Binsted Inn because of its close proximity to the Mid Hants heritage railway which we visited on the day of our one night stop. It proved to be a great choice. My wife and I have stopped in a wide variety of hotels, and B & Bs, over some 40 years ,and experienced an equally wide variety of reception staff attitudes. Message to the Binstead Inn proprietors. Your manager Neil is a very special man who knows exactly how to meet and greet patrons. Look after him, he is so good that he should be training others in the right way to make paying customers welcome ! Very ,very impressed !

Superb room, recently refurbished with quality materials throughout. Spotlessly clean, loads of storage space - sufficient even for a week or more’s stay. Lovely, peaceful location with countryside views. The bar & restaurant are also newly refitted and clearly has been done to a very high standard by someone with a superb sense of style. There are large bifold doors opening onto a huge terrace with loads of outdoor seating including plenty of parasols, some with heaters, making for a lovely place to sit and have drinks into the evening. there’s also plenty of parking. The staff are excellent, friendly & efficient.

Very little! I didn’t try the breakfast because it felt a little pricy to me. Four of us had dinner which was very good all in all. The stone bass portion could have been a little bigger, and we were surprised that the main course fish cakes was actually only one and didn’t come with chips or potatoes. But I would definitely still eat here again.

has been restored. very well . bedrooms very comfortable . Has real potential to be a popular choice

on arrival at 3 pm on Sunday , we were told chef finished at 3 pm . We asked if a sandwich was possible but told politely it wasn’t and then manager added that the bar was closing at 6 pm as local cricket team had not had a match that Sunday . We feel the Inn should have advised us via Booking .com of the lack of food and bar facilities on that Sunday prior to our arrival .

Pleasantly surprised with the place. It looked newly refurbished so everything was fresh and tastefully done. The manager was especially helpful as we asked if we could check in earlier and use the room to change as driving a long way and attending a wedding. Breakfast was good.

The location is beautiful so not the venue's fault but signal in the area is hit and miss for the sat nav and phones. We needed to get a taxi back from the wedding venue (10 mins drive away) which cost a lot as no local cab firms in the area and they need to come from further away.

This small village inn has been refurbished tastefully and on the whole sensibly. As in addition the staff were very helpful, the food was good and the atmosphere excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The refurbished bathroom is not up to the standard of the bedroom. The washbasin is too small and the shower is badly organised. As result, one can easily bump one's head while washing and movement in the shower is inhibited by an internal panel which reduces the available space.

The breakfast itself was lovely. There were no menus set out before so I guessed "Full breakfast" and it arrived soon. But a good breakfast. The room upstairs was very comfortable with a lovely shower. Great restaurant and I had a fine evening meal too! Lovely location too!

The breakfast was excellent but it was slow to get going. There were only three guests present and things were abit slow but hey, it was a Saturday. If it was a work day, I would be stressing out or just head off on my journey.
