We stayed at the little barn for three nights as my brother was getting married locally and we decided to make a little holiday of it. Travelling with two children under 4 was a bit daunting but we had no issues whatsoever. The little barn was cozy, clean and private and met all of our needs. We ate out most of the time but kitchen was fully equipped for if we did want to stay in and cook. We had mentioned about WiFi being important prior to arriving as our son’s diabetes equipment relies on it and Heather went out of her way to message us to make sure it was all working ok. We had some amazing walks in the countryside despite the rain and the local fish and chip shop was nice. We would definitely stay again. Thanks again for a lovely trip 😊

Only negative was that we had to leave!

Very good location, easy to drive to, friendly host and a bright, welcoming property. The property has a good range of facilities and the host provided plenty of information to help us get settled in. We were able to access local shops easily and the self catering facilities were easy to use.

The property was a little small for four adults but would suit couples perfectly. The sofa bed was a little uncomfortable to sleep on and the property did get very warm. Of course the recent hot weather is not something that the host can control :)

The Little Barn was ideal for our needs. It had everything we needed for a short stay near family and was really well located for activities round about. It is very conveniently situated to give access to lots of attractions and activities. It is private and very comfortable. The countryside near by is attractive with a lot of good walking opportunities. The host is very helpful and attentive.

The little barn has been a beautiful place so stay. Nestled near woodland it is a quaint property with all you need for a self contained stay. With a living and kitchen area suited for a short stay and has everything you need including a lounge area, wifi and Sky Tv as well as a DVD player and large selection of DVD’s if required. The complimentary toiletries were a lovely touch. All linen and Towels were provided too. Beautiful walks aplenty with a local pub serving great food only a 10minute walk away. With local farm shops too and Port Solent and the Gunwharf Quays Portsmouth only a short drive away for great shops, eateries and bars. There is so much to do in the area, from woodland walks, Bird Sanctuary and museums. There is something for everyone in the family. Heather the host was lovely and left us to it for our four night stay so we also had the privacy and felt like we were in our own little sanctuary. I can’t recommend the Little Barn enough and will definitely be back if we have to stay anywhere near this area again.

Clean, comfy and quiet. It was modern and light and cute. Liked the smart tv as well for the evening. Close to shops and restaurants and takeaways etc. we requested balloons and prosecco etc and Heather got them for us, was lovely!

The Little Barn was just perfect for us - 2 adults and a 12yr old. Everything was spotless and had every facility that we could have wanted. The TV was large and the sofa comfy - perfect after a long drive! We found The Little Barn with no problems and it is conveniently located near a main road so really easy to use as a pit stop (which is exactly what we needed before continuing our travels the next day) and easy parking. Spotless, modern bathroom with soft towels. I appreciated the little bench outside as I do like to have a little quiet read in the evening. The bed was comfy and Wi-Fi excellent. Really lovely owner who made us feel very welcome and whom I wouldn't have hesitated to go and see if there were any issues. If we were to stay again I would be pleased to go and check out the local walks and pubs.

Delightful property in a lovely area. Was beautifully decorated with a good range of facilities. Very warm and cosy. Was a lovely place to have a night away with the girls. Easy to locate and would stay again.

A couple of questionable stains on the sofa bed mattress and duvet sheet. The sofa bed was uncomfortable but fine for one night. Understandably the stairs were small for space saving, but quite dangerous. The mini shower compliments had been used by guests before us.

it was clean, comfortable bed, warm (heating kicked in quickly), amazing shower. easy to find.

I was ok with it, but the ceiling in the bed area is so low, I was bent over. my husband wasn’t with us and is 6 ft tall and would have struggled upstairs. also the shower, which was fabulous, was too good so I stayed in it a bit too long, but not ages, and there was no hot water left for the second shower.

Well appointed. Finished to a high standard. Hosts were accommodating. The location.

Very steep stairs. Even though there was a sofa bed I feel it is a 2 person property not 3. It is far too small for 3 people to sit and relax in the evening. Perfect for 2.

Great location, comfy bed and a great use of space

It was lovey and light thanks to the velux windows however a blind of some sort would have been great
